I think the person who don't like this type of drama usually someone who loves drama with very heavy plot, & never…
Nope. Not looking for a heavy plot but just a basic plot, period.

That is the whole point of the drama is to give you a break from all these super dramatic and complicated dramas…
There's a reason it's called a "drama." Those scenes actually have a purpose. They provide the audience with an opportunity to experience catharsis. The "stress" you go through leads to a denouement that enables you to release not only the stress from the plot but also some of your own IRL stress. Of course, the new generation wants none of that. They only want fluff and stress-free "dramas" that offer nothing at all but empty entertainment.

Finally some smart Reviewers! This Drama is sooo OverratedIts unacceptable how she got away from these things…
Exactly. Just because she's a girl and the writer is selling the whole thing as sweet and tender, everybody just goes awwww without thinking. It happens in a lot of these new dramas, unfortunately. If the drama is popular, and especially if it's fluffy, everybody goes awwww and gives it a 10. Really weird. Anyway, thanks! Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I couldn't agree more, especially about Han Ji Min. Somehow I could not relate to her character enough to feel for her. Instead, I started getting annoyed and by episode 7 had absolutely no interest in the supposedly budding romance of the main leads. Plus I found the plot unnecessarily convoluted. Better to focus on character sharing and development than an overly complex story full of holes.

Add to that the fact that he makes her pee and poop in a flowerpot outside his window, without even giving her anything to wipe/wash with. Plus she wears the same dress until the very end even though she brought over a cartload of doll's clothes from her room. I just feel like she must smell horrible LOL. You didn't miss out. I don't know why I even finished it. I actually love silliness in dramas, especially Jdoramas, but this was beyond silly. It's just plain ridiculous and badly written. It's as if the writer was a five-year-old who lives in a poorly conceived fantasy in her own head. Plus I don't agree with the other reviewers who say the leads have chemistry. I thought they had absolutely no chemistry whatsoever.

Glad to see someone else did not think this was a 10. Dropped it, for us it was very boring and did not like the…
The first time I tried to watch it I was feeling great and I found it too dark and too boring, and too full of pathos, and I dropped it. I think you need to be a certain shade of miserable to actually start to like the tone LOL. I think it's probably schadenfreude -- seeing someone who is actually more miserable than you -- that sort of provides a weird relief of some sort. It did become somewhat compelling after a bit even though I hate politics and most especially office politics.

Agree with this 100%. Also thought I was the only one disturbed by the fact that Ji An was never really made accountable for what she did. Of course she was portrayed with extreme pathos that was meant to make her character totally pitiable etc. So the viewers are set up to pity her. But she does do a lot of dastardly deeds. Imagine having someone basically stalk you and listen to ALL your private conversations 24/7, or whenever they want to. It's one thing for Ahjussi to understand her. One thing to forgive her. But at least make her accountable for what she did. She basically offered her services to the CEO in exchange for money. Yes. She was doing it to survive. Yes. She boo hoo has a sick grandmother (cheapest pathos trick to use, IMO). Yes. She was victimized early on and had a pathetic life. But THAT IS STILL NO EXCUSE TO VIOLATE OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES AND PRIVACY. At the very least, hold her accountable instead of actually helping her get away scot-free. I also felt uncomfortable with the very obvious hint that Ahjussi had fallen in love with Ji An, especially towards the end. It's not really the age thing but a lot of factors. The writer could have done it more ambiguously.

The fact that you prefer the old drama style...Romcoms now a days focus more on life conflicts, indeed, but it…
LOL that is your opinion, and this is mine. People do see things differently, you know. I don't go around commenting on posts of people who liked the drama, trying to pooh-pooh them, because I know how to respect other people's opinions. If you liked it, good for you. I didn't. That should not have any impact on you whatsoever unless you're a PR person for this drama LOL. Conflict, when well-written, can certainly elevate a drama, but poorly handled, as in this case, it just makes everything fall flat. You need to look more deeply at what I was trying to say, which I don't think you understood properly. Anyway, there is nothing you could say that would change my mind. And I also have no interest whatsoever in changing yours. And please don't be sad for other people who didn't enjoy something you like. I'm sure there are a lot of other things we enjoy that you don't.
