For those comparing it to Love O2O.. Ah Love O2O was my first modern love cdrama, back then it gave such a new trope and story line.. Ticking all the necessary list to be liked except the lack of skinship.. I love it.. Everyone Loves Me can't relate.. 😒
Dropping it after 8 ep for the fail attempt to reignite this kind of online friends turn lovers trope. Can't stand the female lead acting and her character in the drama. Yes, her character is cringy and but she makes it worse with bad gamer enthusiasm acting, bad temperamental girl acting, and her too many unnecessary head nods. Male lead's acting is okay but his character isn't praiseworthy either.. So well, watch it with risk of getting disappointed!
Definitely overhyped overall. Also, while the storyline is unique, I didn't feel like this re-invented the zombie…
Not reinvented but at least it gives us make sense reason on how it's spread especially when it comes to period setting. The writer came out with parasitic worm since she couldn't bring virus into the story. It was brave and risky but I didn't see anyone find fault with her reasoning.
If there will ever be season 3, what is left of the story that can be explore: 1. Of course it's Ashin and her vendetta against the kingdom as a whole who betrayed her and her people 2. Teen or may be adult baby King who has worms in his body, will he forever be immune from getting turned into zombies? Or will he be the key to the cure? But my uncreative self can't imagine how? Given they don't have technology to extract antibodies and such haha 3. Is there any more secrets about the resurrection plants that Kim Eun Hee can develop? Man.. If I use my own brain I will think Season 3 is pretty much impossible.. But, big brain writer like Kim Eun Hee may come up with something??
Going here after my annual rewatch, and suddenly saw comments about how it's boring no action bla bla. I can say, these people are just not into this kind of genre but easily label a drama with boring. If Kingdom is boring I don't how other dramas out there will fare, it will be snoring no?? 😜

All those running but no action you say. There is Rampant if you want this theme to be in a movie but be warned that it's every bit half-cooked compare to Kingdom
