Shaoshang was such a great and REAL character. I love my leads imperfect and fun. Also NO ONE could have played Zisheng's character better than Leo Wu, he was amazing. And my favourite trio, emperor, empress and consort... Gotta be my favourite royalties out there! Loved this and I'll most likely miss it too :(

Another very basic drama which can be delightful while you're in the right mood or it can be quite boring

its been a while since i felt so many strong emotions while watching a drama because why am i actually giving de@th threats to queen dowager and hyping up the queen???

there are times when you to specifically want to watch something cringe and cliche and im in the mood for exactly that so im having lots of fun but if i was watching this on my bad days i wouldve dropped this ;)

this could easily have been 9 or 9.5 for me but the thing i dislike about cdramas is that they drag it too much. things kept going back and forth in the middle part of the drama but i really liked the 1st part and the ending.

These writers need to be stopped. They’re making people like me delusional beyond repair. okay im halfway through as a first time watcher and its actually so fun??? the amount of times i have paused in between just to laugh out loud or squeal in embrassment is crazy and oh god sunjae is sooooo

this whole seson could have been shortened to 2 episodes. main characters from s1 were absent for 3 whole episodes, side stories felt not so important and too many butts lol
