honestly i like the novel more cause they cut a lot from the original story but the series is good too, not a waste of time

even tho I love Zhang Ling He's acting skills I dropped this one after watching 5 ep, it was kinda boring for me. someone convince me to pick it up again cause i don't wanna miss out on a good drama

here to say ignore the comments and just watch this, make your own judgement. the ml is not perfect but that's every human being. he grew up without knowing what love was, that it's something that should be gained and if you were not perfect you didn't deserve it. and what's wrong with the fl being the one who does the chasing?
plus every actors performance here was great.
Edit: After reading the novel i have to say they cut it really short, like 30% of the novel is gone so no wonder the ending did indeed feel rushed

I NEED another project with this two leads, whether a modern or historical drama it doesn't matter cause the chemistry is chemistrying

Zhang Linghe's acting is so good in this one even tho his character is a walking red flag, but what really kept me going is the fl. I loved her character and acting

Ofc she's gonna act like the main character. She is the only one to go back in time and knows literally everything. She knows what everyone is capable of and is able to predict the outcome of her actions. I love powerful women so I ate this whole series up
