I think in their first life, Ban Ji Eum, Min Gi & Han-na were perhaps a group of people who made a pact to reincarnate and remember their past lives. Could be that Min Gi was the shaman who did the ritual and Ji Eum’s first life is that lady who got killed. It could be in this life, they will reverse back the ritual to finally end their lives.

If that so, why his father insisted on him joining MI HQ and mad at him for wasting time at MI Grand Hotel which the business is going down the drain? It doesn’t add up

Did the drama mention about her remembering everything like every aspect of her past lives? I think all the while they keep showing similar footage and she might just remember here and there of the past live memories. Even if she did remember it all anyway, I still take it as a 12 y/o being exposed to something she shouldn’t, like watching a very long movie of someone’s life and having it in your memory. To me, that doesn’t make you older, slightly matured, perhaps but not older because she’s still Ju Won and she’s still 12 y/o. How confusing it is for a 12 y/o to remember it all and exposed to all those memories which is why she’s acting strange because she just got to know something she shouldn’t. The scene when she cried hugging her mom showing that she’s still 12 y/o, she’s scared after knowing it all. So to say that she’s older and somehow pedo just because she likes 8 y/o boy is kinda invalid because she’s living her current life.

Agreed with you. Although Ju Won remembered her past lives, she was still 12 y/o girl, that doesn’t make her older. She just happen to know something she shouldn’t suppose to know.

I don’t understand. When did she mentioned that she started to remember her 2nd life when she’s in her 3rd life and she couldn’t remember her 1st life? I think the scene of her 3rd life is just to indicate how painful it is to remember the people from previous life but those people don’t remember you. Her 18th life is the life that she has a mother after awhile and it saddens her to know that in the next life, even if she remembers the mom, her mom won’t remember her. This is the scene when Ju Won cried hugging her mom and she wanted to stop to be reborn because she doesn’t want to feel the same pain during her 3rd life in her next life. But at the end, she’s the one wishing to be reborn again because of Seo Ha.

The problem with remembering your past lives is that along the way, you lose your own identity on who you’re exactly, which life you’re right now. My take is that remembering the past lives doesn’t make you old. Ju Won is still 12 y/o despite her remembering her past 17 lives, which makes it ok to like an 8 y/o boy because she’s still 12 y/o girl.

When Ji Eum was awaken by her past lives, she remembers about Seo Ha and wants to make sure Seo Ha is alright. JE mentions herself at first she wanted to know if he’s alright but then she likes seeing him and following him. At this point, I feel like JE too like Seo Ha. As a 9 y/o girl, JE did behave like one and being all smiley having a crush on SH which is why she asked him to marry her. Regarding her mentioning she’s born in year 940, it’s because she remembers it all but her character still shows that she’s indeed 9 y/o kid. All the while I think Ji Eum is acting like Ji Eum because Ju Won that we know is a calm and matured kid, unlike Ji Eum now. But of course Ji Eum said to Seo Ha to consider her mental age just because she remembers her past lives. To me, her behavior is like a gen Z which Seo Ha also wondered is kid this day that straightforward? In ep 4, she mentions something, “This Ji Eum really likes you” to Seo Ha. Ji Eum might be influenced by her past memories, but she herself in this life likes Seo Ha which is why she’s pursuing him.

This is just my take on the age gap and why the FL is being so direct and pursuing Seo Ha.

Yes I also have the same thought regarding Seo Ha’s mom being understanding towards Ju Won. Might be that she knew Ju Won is special because she’s one of them.

I think the dancer just remembered her past lives which is why her crews said she’s acting strange lately. I’m still hang on to my theory that she’s a reincarnation of Seo Ha’s mother. She has her eyes on those people in the hotel.

The mysterious guy might be the person who actually overseeing those who can remember their past lives. Maybe the rule is that they cannot interfere with their past life, that’s why he’s checking to see if there’s any reaction from the dancer.

No it’s not Ji Eum’s birthday. 0423 is Seo Ha’s birthday and the day Ju Won died. In ep 2, there’s Ji Eum’s resume showing her DOB is 26 April 1998. She’s reborn 3 days after the death which is quite fast.

Ohh the cliche plot of romcom drama at the end of ep 4. Bring me more of it!!

She just commands without any strategic planning, makes no sense at all.

This is my take from ep 3 and somehow it is supported in ep 4. I also felt weird at first why FL now is so straightforward and pursuing Seo Ha when Ju Won was a calm kid when we saw her around the age of 12-14. In ep 1, we could see that when Ji Eum remembered all her past life, she just wanted to make sure that Seo Ha is safe and there’s a narrative from her saying that at first she just wanted to know if Seo Ha is alright but after awhile she likes seeing him from a far as how we can see she’s basically stalking him and all smiley. I think that Ji Eum is the one having crush on him and likes him after she got her past memories. In ep 4, FL said something like “this Ban Ji Eum really likes you” to Seo Ha. While it’s true that Ju Won liked Seo Ha and would wanna confess to him during his birthday, but it’s Ji Eum’s feeling now with the memories of Ju Won.

For the first time, when she’s about to die, she wants to be reborn and meet Seo Ha again. It’s in the monologue that she mentions her 19th life is different because she wishes for this.

I think the mysterious woman who changed the flower at the hotel lobby might be Seo Ha’s mother reborn.

If I’m not mistaken, Ji Eum was reborn as 19th life , 3 days after the death of Ju Won. This can be seen on Ji Eum’s resume DOB and Ju Won’s death date

I love it so far and I’m excited for more. My weekends are getting interesting with this one.

Ep 2 is kinda a let down to me because I was so excited to watch it from the build up in ep 1. I hope it gets better next week because the trailer looks fun, but it’s kinda slow to me.
