Because as we could see, she tried to leave once during her 18th birthday but YS persuaded her to stay with his confession and she stayed and said she has to become an impressive person so that YS won’t be embarrassed to like her. Then early ep 1, she finally made her final decision to leave, even YS and her dad couldn’t convince her anymore that’s why her dad gave that bun to her through YS. The villagers also mention about Sun Ja / Su Ji related to Chun Pil. There must be something happened between both families. Even KH said to YS’s late grandfather, “why did you that to me back then?”

She’s working, and her classmates gossiped about her having sex in middle of the day at motel. For someone who hates being accused of something she didn’t do, I think she’d never actually do it to satisfy those people.
Viewers should know why they show the shopkeeper scene together with the hotel scene, it’s to indicate her tradition with her dad. The reason she was pissed and didn’t care to explain is becuase she’s always being accused for something that she didn’t do, that’s why she got aggressive and said it’s none of his business. It’s a subtle hint that viewers should connect the dot of her personality.
