No, people who died stay in the afterlife and become a resident there. When a person died, they have 3 days to wander around to reunite with their loved ones whether in afterlife or real world and to say goodbye. After 3 days, those who died will become a permanent resident. However, there are ghosts who didn’t know that they died and still wander in real world. This is when the cat-eye restaurant guy chase those ghosts to go to the afterlife. For those who are in coma, they’re stuck in between and need to have a will to live by going to the light shop. If they don’t, then they die in real world, and live in the afterlife.

The restaurant guy was a ghost chaser to make sure that those ghost who linger around in real world and didn’t want to go afterlife to go there. The detective guy mistakenly took him as a murderer and while he’s chasing the girl who got killed by fire ghost, the detective interrupted his chase and when the lorry came, that restaurant guy with cat-eye saved him, so he died and became a ghost. Since the detective is aware of the afterlife, he can see ghosts now just like nurse Kwon. The restaurant guy died and become a ghost, that’s why he said he had to go there and someone has to take this role and gave him that specs. So the detective has become a ghost chaser.

Where can I watch this drama?

It’s okay because in ep 1, the media stated Sun Jae had depression and committed sui..but actually if viewers watch it carefully, there might be a hint in the beginning that it’s not and he was attacked instead. I don’t want to spoil too many details, but give it a try. If you still can’t go on after watching it a couple of episodes, then it’s okay.

Back then, I was also stuck in ep 5 during ongoing, but I gave this drama another chance after 2 weeks and it turned out amazing. Just sharing my experience if you need motivation to keep watching this.

If you follow TvN Drama instagram, you can see TvN promoted them a lot during the first few airing episodes. They had quite number of contents together. Their contents are the ones that made me wanna watch this drama sooner because they look good together.

I’ve finally finished watching this one. Took me some time to complete it, but I love the journey watching this one! It’s so touching and heartwarming. Gonna miss this drama so much, especially that it’ll leave Netflix soon on 20th Dec 2024. 🥹

FL did make a move as well when she’s worried about ML and nursed him almost the whole night when he’s sick. To me, they have a balanced dynamic of pursuing each other.

For 18 years, FL thought ML abandoned her after his dad’s incident and she was hoping for him to come back to her. She hugged him first and said thank you for coming back to her.

Can’t get enough of them, both adults and teens so I’ve decided to rewatch this drama from ep 1 while waiting until weekend for new episode.

I think he only suspects what CJH did, but it’s not his call to decide as CJH is YJW’s so-called bestfriend, that’s why he asked her to confess to YJW and ask for YJW’s forgiveness, not him.

It’s just his personality that he’s kind to people around him.

Your point is valid. I don’t think you’re comparing LR to LND just to put LND down, but simply stating your previous judgement was wrong on which one you thought is better.

I agree with your points about this drama and the rewatch value is definitely A+.
