Exactly, I was going to mention this to you, but I wasn't sure which ship you were on (it's hard to keep track heheh). The Jing stans often mention the fact that they deserve their happy ending because of all the pain and difficulty they endured, all the ups and downs. I'm sorry, but in terms of trauma, pain, and shared difficulties, no one can beat XY and CX. They've been getting hurt since childhood, so if this were to even be an argument, Cang Xuan should be the one to deserve his happy ending with her. It's mind-boggling, really.

Yes, I agree. It's not that simple for them. But then it would be a perfect tragedy, just the way TH loves to write. What we currently have, in my humble opinion, is a tragedy with a dash of frustration masquerading as happiness. I can't be the only one who sees this.
