i hope more people come to realize that! even if we do come to machine translations being the standard, we need humans to revise and improve them. a few changes would've made vacation of love muchh better already!

i am watching on iqiyi, but subs are bad. still gonna watch it anyways haha

im from brazil! it's not available on wetv here yet, maybe they're taking turns lol i didnt know the company was going through tough times.. that probably explains in. as a translator myself i know they don't value our job, especially if you can get by with machine translation. but yeah, right now vip is not worth it for new shows :(

oh thank god! i finished 2 eps and could figure out what subs were supposed to be, but ugh it sucks haha still an enjoyable drama tho :)

do you have access now? it got released here in my country like 2 days ago i think? but yeah subs are machine translation. i feel like iqyi is giving up on quality, they changed basically every drama to vip only and now their subtitles are bad.. idk what's happening, i don't feel like paying if this is what i get

oh, eng subtitles for ep 1 on iqyi are bad. it's still not available on wetv (at least not for me), but i doubt it'd be much different.. i hope i can at least understand what they're trying to say

tbh, I have been thinking for a while that most relationships in films/dramas are toxic at some level (well, irl too). i have been getting annoyed by dramas more easily because of that too. so it might be easier to point out dramas that don't have a toxic relationship? Happiness was a recent one where i thought the relationship was pretty healthy, but in the case of utsukushii kare I was worried about the whole obsession + all the pushing and making Hira do stuff for others. I guess when the toxic part is one-sided it makes it even harder for me to watch, but well, Hira's feelings and actions are not exactly healthy either..

ohh i'm glad to hear that. just finished ep 3 and it seems like Hira is at uni and has a friend (possible boyfriend?), so i guess it's a little better already. also, it's only 6 eps and your explanation got me more excited, so i'll finish it for sure :) thank you!!

I saw a lot of people enjoying the show so I started watching it, but wow the bullying is hard to watch. Does it get better or they stay in a toxic relationship?? Currently in ep 3

idk if you started already, but i watched forever and ever only. i did look up some stuff and spoiler from one and only, which helped a bit. anyways, i absolutely loved forever and ever as its own drama and it became one of my all time favorites even though i did not watch the prequel

It was really cute!! It's not supposed to be a deep story.. it was a very light and quick watch :)
