This seems really promising drama! I like the setting, though the beginning was a bit complicated it slowly unveiled to well made a plot. Can't wait to see how this continues!!
I can't seem to complete this series out of HIStory 1... I find Jing Teng really dislikeable... He was bullying the MC if I understood correctly(?) and then broke their 7 years long relationship in total asshole way... I can't comprehend why this kind of relationship is "glorified" in a lot of dramas. They break up (in this case rebirth) and then get back together after partner being asshole... I can understand why this part of the series is popular due to a lot more steamy scenes than rest two, but...idk. Jing Teng is really dislikeable. Just my personal opinion, this was my least favorite out of HIStory 1
From my personal opinion this drama had changes to become something really memorable... But somehow after 2 episodes or so the plot kinda got flat. It wasn't boring. But somehow they focused too much on aspects that made it like any other drama. At later episodes focus was on _the same_ conflicts between characters again and again, not on kpop.
It's still nice drama for people who like idols or kpop. But I had too high hopes for this. It was honestly more like J-pop inspired kpop than kpop (which isn't bad) If you compared to latest trends (and think this was recored in 2018) it seemed a bit outdated and not realistic e.g in training aspect.
I haven't watched the drama at all just saw one FMV: Is there actually any subtle hint at Oh Se Ho being gay or is it just their friendship with Kang Boksoo? Saw some FMV's with accurate subs and their relationship seemed quite close. I know they won't end up together but I'm just thinking if there were any hints?
