The worst choice for a female lead; she has an unattractive look when trying to be funny. SFL is so much prettier…
Be so fr rn. Out of all actresses you want SFL to replace the Kim Sejeong because she is not pretty enough to you?? 😠SFL is notoriously known as being bad actress, she got her 1st big acting role in 2024 as main lead of The Impossible Heir and nobody was impressed with her. At least this time she is SFL and has improved her acting somewhat but it's nowhere near the level of being lead actress. Idk feels very superficial to want different actress just because their facial expressions look unattractive to you?? Acting should be at forefront not how good looking you are.
I finally finished this after leaving the last ep unwatched for months. I'm not super satisfied how the middle part of the drama turned out to be but the beginning and end are pretty great.
I feel like for short dramas like this it's useless to have subplot that drags on for multiple eps and adds nothing to this drama. It is shame because other than that this was really nice and comoforting series.
I would have loved the Sapporo plot more of exploring FL as character with brief climpses of her past working there. Not whole dramatics with ex and FL warming up to him without any reason considering how their relationship ended. Why almost every time interesting FL is written for kdrama it needs to derail to her past relationships or something... Especially this type of drama that felt more chill focusing on food and countryside life :(
I feel like Huh Ildo as character is one of the best in this series. I mean he obviously is asshole but the way Lee Haeyoung as actor portrayed the character's emotions was genius. Tbh I feel his character was even a bit sympathetic even tho I know he is bad.
I saw a lot of negative comments about this drama but tbh I've been surprised positively how it folds out. It's not best of the best but it's light hearted and fun. Somehow FL being so hot headed is breeze of fresh air haha
I do not watch a lot of romcoms but is the 2nd lead couple having one night stand common trope or am I paying attention to it more nowadays... I could literally predict it when the 2nd couple met each other TT
I feel like everytime I've recently watch romcom with 2nd lead couple they get together first and then the series from their part is "fixing" the awkwardness of having one night stand and actually getting to know each other.
This was so goood and well executed, good mix of fighting and friendship, comedy and angst. The only thing I didn't like was the last 9-10 eps were rushed, it feels like this season should have been at least 2 eps longer to develop the ending better. Tho I've seen this becoming trend in kdramas where ending has to be rushed because everything have to be fit in 10 or 12 ep format rather than 14 or 16 ep format.
This is just pure speculation but could the ML role been going to total rookie due to FNC having hand in this? ML is debuting this year as idol so having lead role would bring more attention to soon to be debuting group... It feels like they are using Seunghyub's momentum in acting as a boost to new FNC band by putting him as 2ML... Seunghyub is 12 years senior in FNC and has been gaining fame by acting roles past years so I cannot think any other reason why :(
12 hours of wasted life. Started as interesting but well flat at halfway...
Poor writing, not even good acting or cinematography could save it. Advertised as healing drama but this is farthest from it. So many toxic dynamics between lead couple, just pure frustration watching it. 2nd ML in this drama just for making his life miserable and everything wrong. Poorly represented DID (and I don't even mean it needs to be super realistic. It just had no logic in this drama).
Because it is an adaptation and it got censored.Kdramas which have hinted bromances were not adapted from an LGBT…
At a Distance Spring is Green is also censored adaption from original Webtoon, so not only one. There's not many censored adaptions from Korea but this one seems to get way too much flak for it.
Yeah it feels like they were not ready for full-scale BL with high budget and should have just kept it on drawer a few more years before public opinions is more favorable to LGBTQ+ because that's honestly the reason this was censored. I don't say it is necessarily correct thing to do but this series seems so far interesting kdrama even without romance.
It has solid start and there's some bromance. FYI it's not the first Korean drama that has censored BL away, so idk why this one seems to get more attention about it. Yes it would be nice to not get censored BL in 2024 but it's not first kdrama to do so
