People need to stop defending this show “if you want kissing, it’s not for you.” It’s NOT about the physical intimacy. It’s ok not to have physical contact. But did they say “I love you” “I want to be with you forever”? Did they express their love VERBALLY? No, then it’s queer baiting, then you’re delusional to think they are in love. The ambiguity is used to please bl fans and homophobic fans because you can interpret it both ways.
Netflix promoted it as BL in June 2024, go google. It was reported in GQ, Variety, legit magazines. Then somewhere along the way, they change the story. What happened? They changed it to please homophobic fans. It’s 2026. They want that pink dollar AND please their conservative homophobic fans. Not taking a stance is already taking a stance siding with the homophobes.
2 Thai bl teenager series debuted this week. When oranges fall is better in terms of storyline and style. But this one is good too. I can see the vision of this series. Just the editing, directing, and photography aren’t skillful enough yet. Hope they can gain some experience and continue on their journey.
This is putting me to sleep. It's not even about people want to see nc like some are saying. This snail pace and…
This show requires patience. If u like vertical drama speed , it isn’t for you.
But ep 6 is so full of love and regret and pain and everyone’s trying to do the right thing. The brother demolishing the house because it brings painful memories of his dad favouring Kuji. Kuji understanding his brother and therefore not pressing the brother to keep the house. Kuji and azuma living together as a couple that they got apples from the mom. The look of love from kuji’s eyes - omg no actor ever expressed that kind of love in their eyes. Azuma associating the house with Kuji, growing old together in that house. But when he hears it’s about to be demolished, he gets so sad but doesn’t say anything because he knows Kuji is even sadder.
It’s so brilliant but everything is internal. So if you don’t get it, you don’t. It’s not for you. Don’t force yourself.
Ugh, this is so sad. I feel like stopping watching it, and at the same time I keep hoping for some kind of positive…
in japan, inheritance is not a good thing! You have to pay a high inheritance tax. It's not worth it for a lousy, old house. And you have to pay a yearly property tax, which is high. So actually, the dad is burdening the elder brother (because the elder bro is richer!)
Episode 6:"I forgot to tell you, when I asked you to move in, that I am moving out." This is, in a nutshell,…
if u watch ep 5, kuji did tell azuma. Kuji said, "I'm moving out of the house, but if you want, you can stay here until I move out." And in this epsode 6, Kuji is reminding Azuma in a humorous way: "oops, i forget to tell that i'm moving out, so you have to too."
