Korea already gave us Secret Relationship and Heesu in Class 2 this year.
Adaptations are different, that's why they are called adaptations, not cut-and-paste. Many movies and plays for example change the sex or race of the character. I'm not heterophobic so I'm okay to them changing the side couple to a hetersexual one. I don't need 2 BL couples in one series. Let's imagine that there's a series where they change straight couples in BL couples: would you be mad about it? If you won't be mad, then maybe you shouldn't be mad here.
I don't know how to feel about what I just saw. If he had called him and apologized right after that happened…
i understand what you mean... but I think Si Yeol needs some time to sort out his own feelings too... Like "why can't I let go for him if I'm just using him?"
it's a cute story but Si Yeol's acting... he's clearly not in love with short king. Si Yeol the actor is so, very, extremely straight. You can be a straight actor and do a good job like most of the Thai BL actors. But unfortunately Si Yeol's heart is really not in the series. His eyes are just blank when he looks at the short king. You can see that he's imagining he's somewhere else.
In ep2, Sasin spied at Prince hugging a woman and then later, an uncle spied at Prince and Sasin hugging. In Khemjira, you have people eavesdropping all over the place too. No secrets is safe in Thailand!
1. the rims of his eyes are red. that means something irritates his eyes to produce tears. Real crying doesn't do that.
2. the editing. They cut away, so they can put eyedrops in his eyes. If he's real crying, directors will never cut away because directors want to show the acting skills.
But anyway, it's not about the crying. I'm fine if he can't cry. It's just the overall acting skills. He's giving duck lips, acting cute all the time. Reminds me of tul in Manner of Death, and Khaotung after Eclipse. I understand their agents will pressure them about their looks, so they are self conscious in front of the camera, but they forgot that acting isn't about looks, acting is about skills. Look at Singto, he's not the best looking actor, but his acting is amazing.
