Because of the situation and atmosphere of the show and the dates, it feels really exciting and heart-fluttering for YS and HJ or any other couple who are not exes, but really, as soon as they step out of the show and get hit with reality, it's completely different.
In the show, they go on expensive dates, live in mansions, don't go to work, and are basically living in a dream. Then obviously, in real life, there is so much more to a relationship than just having fun on dates, and the comparison between their time in the show and real life will make them more disappointed.
