The costume is great but the plot is too mess
Once upon a time, there is one drama who try to adapt some witchcraft with generic reborn plot that you always see on Chinese Vertical Short Drama but somehow they forgot the plot formula. The result is inconsistency and fickle drama who wants to being Harry Potter version of Shein but ends up being nowhere to go and the ending is having no correlation with the story
Peng Yao styling is not her usual ponytail that everyone complains when i see her drama on youtube. She still got acting skills and unfortunately her chemistry with Xie Hongxin is not here and she was having better chemistry with the Male antagonist instead. Xie Hongxin is having not luck with executing potential drama with decent plot. Somehow his acting always being underperformed by her female lead or the plot is going downgrade on the middle of drama.
Not really recommend to watch.
