Should have go with different title
I was eager to watch Mr Pei 2 but somehow they delete the daughter existence and make another same formula with different theme so it was unrelated to prequel drama for me.
The plot is FL was divorce for scumbag and being single mother for her kids. FL and ML got married while FL didn't know ML was their CEO on her workplace and the Hidden identity plot strikes again
The chemistry between Xu Mengyuan and He Congrui still good as previous one and the conversation is witty. The boy are quite good but his screentime was decreased and this drama focus on tug a war between FL and ML. It lacks of hearwarming charm as the plot is generically with useless conversation between FL Manager and her cronies.
Recommended to watch and better you put down the expectation if you watch prequel
