Hidden identity with wrong diagnosis.
I watched all of Peng Daidai and Wang Nan and this is their best one. Although it's an old trop about hidden identity with wrong diagnosis, it was still decent to watch.
No drugging, No kidnapping, no shielding, and the couple stands united against outsiders. Wang Nan's crying scenes are absolutely amazing. There's a scene where he's eating while listening to the FL talk about the fifty things she wants to do before she dies.
The cons in this drama is ML assistant, he is more antagonist than the actual villain. He always interrupted ML goodwill and make misunderstanding more bigger.
Overall, the plot has many misunderstandings and plot holes, but they're resolved within a few episodes. The pretense of poverty and misdiagnosis aren't explained until the very last episode, and there's no unnecessary verbal sparring—it's all very satisfying to watch! The interactions between ML and FL are sweet, plentiful, and natural.
Recommended to watch.
