For classic drama, this drama is decent watch.
I remember i watched this on drama works when i was craved for Yue Yu Ting drama. And this is one of my favorite before she take same seductress FL route.
This drama has a bunch of generic tropes: one-night stands, ML unrequited love, lost heiress. But overall it's light and watchable, especially the good looks and chemistry between Lu Huan Yu and Yue Yu Ting was satisfying to watch.
The plot includes hidden identity because ML thinks FL is a gold digger, faking bankruptcy to hastily marry her; The misunderstanding is cleared up—he discovers FL's true feelings and falls deeply in love with her; After the FL discovers the male lead's true identity, she was mad at first but slowly harbors no resentment. This is first time i found DNA testing isn't just about hair.
The romance part was well-developed. ML loves kissing. He kisses FL when he's happy, he kisses FL when he's jealous, and he even kisses FL when he's afraid she'll leave. Lu Huanyu you don't need to show abs if you haven't developed them yet.
