I'm starting to lose excitement about this drama. It airs at 5am my time and by 6am I'd be up and excited, but now I keep forgetting until the evening. Even when I watch I'm skipping most of the scenes.
We don't need SRQ that much, just give us PWX&LR that's all.
But then I'll still watch it, I just want more lovey dovey scenes especially in front of SRQ hehehe

Is anyone else annoyed with the Jiang father??? Sometimes he supports JL and suddenly when something happens he changes his mind without even believing her until someone else confirms the truth.
And I find it hard to believe he didn't suspect foul play when bad things started happening after he married JSR.

I'll just wait till all the episodes are out to finish it. I'll probably skip through it cause 20 eps is unreasonable for the way they're dragging this drama. Between 12-16 would have been perfect.

I thought the final episode would be today, but it's still ongoing. The drama started well, now it seems the writers (and we) have lost the plot. Why are they dragging it on???? I guess I'll just wait till all the episodes are released to binge watch. Most of what is happening now are fillers which are not needed, there's no great plot development that requires it to be this long.
I knew Dosung was going to turn on his brother, but rather than hating him I think he's just annoying. The king needs to wake up, why has he been sleeping all through. Also, SuSung and the Queen should have talked to Dosung rather than let him be manipulated. He's quite weak minded and needs to understand that myung Hoon doesn't like him. I hope the dowager and GI get punishment not forgiveness.

That was a very amazing ride!!!!! I didn't want it to end 😭, I love the wrap up, feel sad 😢 for rong I really hoped she made it out. Love our little Jian 👑, shayao and Shen huan 💕, HuaZhi couple ❤️❤️❤️. I'm so glad it's a happy ending. I know I'm definitely rewatching this.

The men getting used to their domineering and bossy wives made me laugh 😂

Honestly wished they'd made it longer than 40 eps, maybe in 2 parts. They could make 100 eps and I'd probably watch it 😂

I think the title shouldn't be Fighting for love , but rather "Our Disguises" cause why did everyone have a secret side to them. Everyone was wearing masks, only a few weren't.

CYQ bringing an Army to propose to Amai is the funniest thing ever. What do you mean you're consuming tons of provision just to see a woman??!! Him shooting his shot every chance he gets, if I were Amai I'd have folded . All I can say is that, for me CYQ is the best thing that existed in this drama. Now I have to find his previous works and pay attention to the upcoming ones.

Also, this is the first time I've seen MDL comment section collectively agree that a drama is bad. Usually you'd see some people who like the drama as it is, but I guess we're all tired of this "mashed up plot". None of of us can actually guess how it'll end maybe sensibly or totally unhinged 😂

Does the PM ever get tired of manipulating and gaslighting??? This is by far one of the worst shows I've seen in a while. It started off great then suddenly went in an unknown direction. Props to the screenwriters for making it unpredictable though, cause I never expected the mess it turned into.

I actually forgot about Mu Bai for a second. What is with the screenwriters and including totally unnecessary plot twists???? Does this mean the PM had plans of making SYZ the emperor that he put his son beside him? (I feel Mu Bai is adopted though). Don't tell me he saw the EP 1 SYZ and thought " that's leadership material". SYZ had no character development, yet he's getting rewarded for things others paid for. He can't even reasonably come up with a plan, he's been coddled since he was a child till now.
A'mai is supposed to be the smartest of the bunch but when it comes to SYZ, she loses all thinking capability and just goes along with him. I hope she finally applies some smarts and put herself first if not she will be extremely hurt.

They might as well serve Nanxia to Beimo on a silver platter. They have an emperor who is incompetent at best and a scheming prime minister. In order to get his daughter married to the emperor, the PM is sabotaging the one person who is smart enough to resist Beimo, and SYZ himself couldn't picture A'mai as an empress.. what a joke. The story was intriguing at the beginning, but now they've lost the plot... literally. I really hope A'mai doesn't end up with SYZ, she has better chemistry with CYQ especially when she pretended to be his lover (Maybe they both should take over their countries, get married and unite as one 😂).
Nanxia was already on a path to downfall (set by the prev emperor), now we have people who are accelerating it. I just can't wait for it to end, hopefully A'mai is free from all these nonsense.

That seems plausible, but the way he beat her back then?? He definitely didn't like her then. I had to rewatch that episode just to see how brutal he was.
OR Maybe he started liking her after she beat him, the "you're the first woman to treat me this way" trope.

I struggled to watch 4 episodes then came here to read the comments and decided I'm dropping this drama!

I created an account just to say this. But I find it quite funny how the song prince and his sister beat up HJL in EP 6 or 7, then he starts having feelings for her in EP 17(I think??). He also expected her to look his way and acknowledge him during the martial arts competition. He's quite annoying.
