I find it very interesting how you claim that IU is only for “sadness and tears”, when in reality an elite actress like her has the range to do both melodramas and physical comedy.
If she were to only play one type of role, her career would stall. Exploring “cringe” or absurd humor dramas shows her confidence as a performer.
Calling this drama an ‘idiot comedy’ just because it isn’t your taste ignores the fact that physical comedy is one of the hardest things to pull off. IU chose this script, so maybe respect her judgement on what she does or does not “deserve” because after all “it's only 1 ep only.”
Wishing part of the supporting cast was “killed off” is just too much. These “idiot” characters are there to build the world she is acting in.
IU is a grown woman and an award-winning actress who picks her own roles. If she’s fine with the comedy, why are you more offended for her than she is for herself?
Im thinking next, bcuz its seems they're still filming. So unless they wrap that up by like May or June, and speed run the editing, then we'll have to wait till 2027.
