giving Man Di (a very minor character) some screen time for the viewers to accumulate sympathy on him before injuring him. unlike some other dramas where they treat minor characters nothing but a cannon fodder, no connections to main characters, no symphaty attached from the viewers, just straight up killing or hurting them for the main character's character development.

but for this drama it's different. every recurring characters got their own story.. it's a really great directing. 😭 will never get tired of praising ZQJ and ZY. 😭❤️

I want Zeng Qing Jie (Blossom/Pursuit of Jade) to direct this drama.. The FL's and her master's place are very snowy! Also this director can get passed the censorship bureau, he'll probably just incorporate curtains in graphic/bloody scenes. 😭
