i believe volume 8 is the crucial part of the main series but the adaptation is yet to come.

it would be nice if this production adapts volume 1 to 8 and retains all the actors. Tbh I'm tired of non-linear adaptations since it kinda ruin the timeline of the story. Daomu Biji Wikia barely helps me connect the events. I really need a linear adaptation now😭

these unconfirmed upcoming series suits Cheng Yi just by reading the synopsis. Any pity characters would suit CY very much. I've been to multiple unconfirmed drama series with CY as rumored ML, I really can't doubt the rumors since it would likely fit CY's taste. especially this one, he likes to play pitiful characters and multiple characters.
