i saw this on twitter. they really changed a lot in the drama compared to the novel. they cut so many of lingheās scenes, i wonder how he feels about the final cut. no wonder he hasnāt been posting much about it. it must be frustrating, especially if he put so much effort into filming, only to have key parts removed.

if i didnāt watch this drama and someone said heās not the ml, iād 100% believe it. weāre at ep 16 and it feels like he only got around 15 minutes of screentime. iād get it if it was like the drama reborn, where the mlās not really shown that much but that made sense since itās a women-centered drama. but this oneās supposed to be a love story and about their growth together, so why am i not seeing that? iād say itās too early to judge, but the dramaās almost over

yeah, thatās fair maybe the production team is partly to blame but i still feel like the overall direction and pacing are messy too. even the scenes that made it in sometimes feel disconnected. itās a shame because the story had a lot of potential š„²
once again, the male lead barely got any screentime in ep 16 š¤£. itās honestly frustrating, so many of jqx's scenes have been deleted or cut, and thatās a huge reason why viewers are struggling to connect with his character. the screenwriter has such a messy way of handling the storyline, there are moments where it feels like the drama is finally getting it right, but then it suddenly falls apart again. i'm still going to keep watching, but the inconsistency is really holding the drama back.
