poor her. sheās so young and so pretty, she should be getting roles that match her age and let her grow naturally. i really donāt understand what her parents and her agency are thinking. why do they keep pairing her with men who are almost in their 30s when sheās barely 18? it just feels unnecessary and uncomfortable. this kind of setup being so normalized in c-ent is honestly worrying. she deserves better roles that highlight her talent without putting her in situations that donāt fit her age at all. š£
What's the vibe for this story compared to the other 3 Zhu Yi novels?
iād say the vibe is a mix of hidden love and first frost , itās fluffy but also has some angst. and instead of yifan, itās the male lead whoās miserable this time lol
there are so many actresses who are in the same age range as neo, and yet they decided to pair a 17-year-old with a man who is nearly 30. Itās disappointing because it could have been a good storyline, but instead they do this. and the fact that many viewers will still accept and romanticize this choice makes it even more frustrating. š¬
Does anyone know how this is set in the same universe as Hidden Love and The First Frost?
the ml is a year younger than yifan and sangyan, he's their schoolmate and their junior. he also has a nephew who used to be sangzhi's classmate. he was the one that had a crush on sangzhi and was rejected. also, in the special chapter of tff in the novel, the ml was mentioned. sangyan and jiaxu were jealous because sangzhi and yifan kept talking about him and how good he looked. š¤£
I simply share my opinion on MDL because i love interacting and i dont even attack anyone, i reply to both good…
such a wild and funny accusation 𤣠i've seen you hundreds of times under cdrama discussions and you always reply to comments, so i really donāt get why people are mad when the whole purpose of the discussion is to freely talk about the drama. at the end of the day, they can either like it or not itās really that simple. if it bothers them that much, they can just scroll past and ignore. itās not that deep.
just finished all the current eps and iām still enjoying it, but i agree with some comments that the ming arc was kinda draggy. it was fun and all, but i donāt think we really needed three whole eps for that they couldāve trimmed it down a bit considering there's only 12 eps. romance-wise, i know people are divided. some donāt like the leads chemistry but for me itās actually good. i find them pretty natural together, tho iām not really focused on that part anyway. i'm really curious how this one will end only two eps left and thereās still a lot to cover. i honestly feel like the ending will end up being really rushed. do you guys think this will have happy ending? š„¹ i want to see the leads and all the cooks especially gilgeum in the future t___t
currently 3am here and iām on ep 5. tbh at first i didnāt really care about the leads or the romance part since iām not that familiar with both of them, i was just here for the time travel plot. itās not like the most revolutionary drama ever but iām actually enjoying it. the pacingās good, not boring at all, and the editing every time they taste the food is literally killing me. usually i donāt even touch historical dramas bcs i get confused so easily, but this one feels so light and funny lowkey gives me mr. queen vibes. i just hope they give a proper ending, at least for jiyeong š that poor girl already went through so much. iām so tired of open ending, honestly iād even take those cdrama-style āit was all a dreamā finales at this point LOL
