it was a great concept, but the movie was so chaotic it was really hard for me to enjoy it.

they don't end up together, but for me it wasn't neither bad nor good, after the night they just go back to their lives I guess.

It’s not the most amazing drama I’ve seen, but it’s perfect when you want to chill out, quite entertaining and the cast is great. There were some aspects I didn’t like, but overall I enjoyed it.

The acting and music were superb! It’s hard to believe it’s almost 100 years old. For a silent movie without narration, it was still very interesting to watch. Sometimes I felt lost in a story but the wikipedia’s page helped a lot.

There wasn't a lot of action in the movie but it was very intriguing to watch. The acting was amazing, I could see and feel the tension between the characters very well. I also loved how the movie had lots of long takes and was in dark colours, it created the right atmosphere.

Please do yourself a favour and read the book. Or at least watch the anime [aoi bungaku]. The movie doesn't express how great this story is.

this was an extremely slow-paced movie and I LOVED it, I wasn't bored even for a second.
