100% agree. But then, I'm not too invested with these two love lines anyway so I'm kind of satisfied with the ending. Let them go their own way especially Xiao Guo where she can learn a lot more with her new company instead of following him around.

this drama and full house (thai vers) will always be my fav go to re-watch drama. even though it has its own flaws but then this version feels more grounded and natural compared to the other versions.

Everything was spot on! At some point I was at a phase where I look at a drama summary and I unconsciously told myself I am too old for this when irl I am not even 23 y/o yet lmao. I guess that's the disadvantage of starting watching asian dramas wayyy too early ._.
