I love this so much. I don't even know how many times I've watched this. Anyway, Toni a.k.a Simon did an amazing job with his character. I still dream of him (Simon) being the main character of his own show bc he definitely has his own interesting story to tell. Glad the cast became really good friends and still hangs out a lot tgt.
He was REALLY good as Taichi! I'm also #TeamTaichi haha (but it's difficult as I really freaking love Mackenyu…
I love mackenyu too! haha but that won't make me change sides. I've read the manga and watched the anime and he's the real-life Taichi that I'd ever wanted. lol Btw, this is such well-written and I've enjoyed reading this. Good job~
He being Taichi in chihayafuru is the best. I can never think of anyone that can be fitting as Taichi as him (coz I'm obv #TeamTaichi) He's such a gem! (did kiko and him get back tgt?)
I've seen all the versions but guess I'll just add this lol even if it's pretty much unoriginal now at this point. An OG that never gets old. Also, excited to see these fresh faces. I really like Yue Yue ^^
I watched this few years back, when it was still ongoing. I had high hopes with this at that time because of various reasons: 1.) 2013 is brilliant (school series to be exact) 2.) Kim So Hyun is also brilliant 3.) I love mysteries 4.) I was anticipating for NJH's first lead role (also YSJ)
It was a perfect watch for spring time. I anticipated each week's episode but as the week passed Idk but I lost interest. Maybe it's because they focused on the love story more that it kinda bore me. Though I really like Eun Bi and Tae Kwang, which they kinda made as a bait for the viewers. Up until the last eps I was kind of hoping for them plus Eun Byul and Yi Ahn but it was all fruitless. The answers for the mystery didn't do much as well. The writers could've done so much better and I am still questioning their decisions up until now (the only good thing that they did imo is creating the awesome character of Tae Kwang!). Nonetheless, it's an okay-watch if you want some school romance with some mystery and topic of bullying mix in. Personally, I didn't like the ending but Kim So Hyun never disappoints. She's outstanding.
Definitely one of my faves. Focuses about regrets and past wounds that can't be healed just by time but by properly facing it with acceptance. I cried so hard and watched it multiple times!
"Why did he like Hiroko? Is it because she looks like Itsuki?" That's something I hope was answered as well, 'cause…
yeah I think so too. In my own take he probably noticed Hiroko due to the resemblance but maybe fell in love with her for her own personality since she's a lovely person.
I wished the ending is a little longer. At least, explain why he didn't look for the Itsuki after he is all grown…
"Why did he like Hiroko? Is it because she looks like Itsuki?" That's something I hope was answered as well, 'cause if he just fell in love/confessed to her just because she looks like his first love, that's a pretty depressing reason.
This is one of my favorite japanese films. Beautiful in any way, although it tackles about first love I kinda wanted to see more of the Fujii Itsuki that Hiroko fell in love and not just the one who was Fujii Itsuki's (girl) first love. Anyways, such a lovely film that leaves a bittersweet feeling.
