Episode 4 was going great with the girls having a nice time together and they decided to end it with them running into Seonwoo?! I'm really getting annoyed with all the Seonwoo coincidences that the writer is pushing just to insert Mijo's romance with him.
Will there be no flashback scenes this season? I think maybe that's kind of what's missing these past few episodes apart from fewer lacking 5 group scenes... I still love every episode but I do feel they're somewhat lacking something that was in season 1 that I can't put a finger on. Having said that, the storytelling, characters, and patient stories are still top-notch.
Regarding the ships, I can't wait for IkSong and GomGom ships to sail. I hope they don't drag it until the last episode like what they did with winter garden last season. IkSong might start having some developments on that front after Looney's cameo. I still want to see Songhwa's perspective and her feelings even though I understand why she's reluctant to give a relationship with Ikjun a chance. I wish we can see past Songhwa dealing with her (one-sided as far as she knew) crush on Ikjun because almost everyone seems to be so sympathetic for present Ikjun when past Songhwa was probably more hurt seeing him with other women and eventually getting married.
GomGom is a little more complicated because Sukhyung seems to be set on being alone but I believe if anyone can break his wall, it would be Minha. Minha has become my favorite resident so I'm rooting for her.
For Bidulgi couple, I think both of them need to be more honest and open with each other for their relationship to work out. Junwan needs to be able to honestly tell Iksun what he's feeling and not keep it to himself just because he's afraid they'll fight or something and Iksun needs to just really be open with Junwan. I do feel Junwan is more invested in the relationship although I don't think Iksun is doing it deliberately but she needs to realize that for their relationship to work, they both need to meet in the middle and be equally invested.
WinterGarden seems to be going smoothly for now although I'm not really a fan of their ship. I'm glad they're together and I do think them being all cutesy are based on their (or at least Jungwon's) character and they're still in the 1st love honeymoon stage, but I guess I'm just not a fan of aegyo couples. I do get enjoy the funny scenes surrounding their secret relationship. I hope to see their relationship grow into a mature one where they help each other grow as better individuals like the scene in episode 1 where Jungwon helped Gyeol on how to deal with the mother of her former patient.
I've just discovered her in DOTS and I can't get enough of her. I've been binge watching all her dramas and even though she has limited screen time in most of them, she still manages to steal almost every scene she's in. Even when her character is supposed to be annoying, she still makes me want to root for her because she adds layers to her characters with her acting. She adds vulnerability instead of just making them one-dimensional antagonist/side character.
I also like that she's a chameleon as she has an excellent ability to immerse herself into her characters. I see a lot of comments from people who couldn't believe or wasn't able to realize that Rachel Yoo, Yoon Myeong Joo and Choi Aera are played by the same actress.
Sorry for gushing too much but I'm still on a Kim Ji Won obsession phase. lol. I hope to see more of her in new dramas and movies especially now that she's reached lead actress status.
