I have read in the comments that ML liked the FL first but I do think FL fell first. FL seemed like she just was not aware what it was but she was questioning why she pulled ML away from the robbers. She confused herself too and that to me was an indication.

He lied about being 22 when he is just 15. Also, when he showed up infront of FL, he still pretended to be one even though it was so obvious that he wasn't. I chalk it up to maturity. Both were immature at that time.
