Is this like The Witch (more melodrama than lighthearted) in terms of mood?

Why does this have a low rating? I thought it was good, or at the very least, ok. Plus, Han Ji Min is so pretty!

He's so insensitive and inconsiderate. One of the most annoying SML in Kdrama, I swear!

The premise was so promising and they wasted an opportunity to showcase a nonconventional family - how a family is defined by the people and harmony in it and not exactly defined by roles each person is assigned with.

I have seen a lot of romcoms and this is by far the kdrama where the 2ML is given more exposure than the ML. This 2ML is the one that I am the most annoyed at too.

The SML is so annoying. Of course, there will be gossip about him and FL because he kept hovering around her. Like please, be professional! At this rate, I just want the ML to be with someone else who truly loves him

Right?? What was his motivation? He wanted a puppet king but for what? Maybe it was mentioned in one of the episodes but it must have been vague coz I didn't capture it at all.

I agree. This should have been explored. Everything else had a backstory. Even the switching of the souls was given an explanation but not Im Sa Hyeong's backstory. Another episode would have been enough.

Does anybody know why Im Sa Hyeong was hellbent in gathering power, aside from "being powerful?" It's not like he's after the wealth. Does he just want to be in control all the time?

Just don't trust the ratings. It really is a good show.

Just finished this kdrama and as someone who is not a fan of saeguk, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this drama! The dialogue was so romantic and funny at times. It tugs at your heart strings too. I am so inlove with this drama!
