I just rewatched the episode where Ikjun said that him eating with Songhwa was a "treat" to himself. He is so appreciative of the smallest things and moments like that make him happy. He also respects boundaries. He stepped back when he knew Seokhyung liked Songhwa and he is stepping back after Songhwa told him not to confess. He is selfless like that. However, I think that he would still confess in the end whether or not Songhwa approves of it. While he is selfless, he knows when to draw the line like when he rejected the liver disease patient because he's had it already. I feel like Ikjun will come to a point where he could no longer contain what he feels and just confess unexpectedly.
the only part about ep 2 that made me a little bit confused was why did Jung Won give up with removing the stitches…
I actually thought the opposite. The fact that he tried it thrice meant that he wasn't gonna give up. In the end, he explained to the mom how they should be understanding of where the child was coming from after all the pain that he went through. The kid was traumatized and not wanting to be touched again was a natural reaction. JungWon understood this the most so that's why he didn't force it. Jungwon is a very patient man. The fact that he didn't give up on his priesthood dream all those years indicates how patient he can be.
There's still hope! She didn't say she doesn't like him Ikjun. She just said for him not to confess. So I am hopeful. I hope for our IkSong ship to sail in the coming episodes!
Can someone explain to me what JunWan was feeling when he just decided not to tell Iksun about the surgery that he had done? He was so excited to tell her but after listening to Iksun about her racism experience, he just didn't want to share. It seemed to me that he didn't want to share anymore because she was feeling down and he was feeling the opposite. While I think this is ok, part of being in an LDR is sharing experiences whether good or bad no matter what the situation is. I was in an LDR before and I can see why JunWan wouldn't want to tell her anymore. If this continues though, they'd eventually fail in keeping their communication and I'd hate that
I initially thought it was IkJun but then I realized it could also be her resident Heo Sun Bin who gave the two coffees. I'd love it to be IkJun because I need the IkSong ship to sail!
Also that is why i remember him mentioning in s1 that he doesnt want to date anyone
I guess he was too busy to give time to his then-wife. All of them are workaholic so I can definitely see how time was a challenge in an established relationship outside the hospital.
As someone who really enjoyed this , I have no idea lmao. I think it deserved that 9.4 though (imo) !! I say that…
I love them too! This is the only drama that I watch on per episode basis aside from Flower of Evil. I just couldn't wait for all episodes to come out before I watch!
I like this episode so much because I am a mother myself. I felt for the mother who lost her baby. Seok hyung is such a thoughtful doctor. Can someone tell me why him and his wife divorced again? Also, who gave the coffees to Song Hwa?
Oh I waited so long and by the end of the ep Ikjun got dumped, lol that hurt me a little too much
I know it. I felt the devastation of Ikjun right after SH left. I am hopeful that they will get together. It wouldn't make sense that the writer has been teasing us about on the IkSong ship since S1, for it not to sail.
Not going to lie, as excited for season two as I was, a part of me was worried that it wouldn't do season one…
I didn't realize how stingy Jungwon can get with his stuff until this was highlighted in this episode. Lol. I guess I wasn't paying much attention previously if it was shown in S1.
