I am just on episode 1. It said in the description that this has comedy. Does it become funny towards the middle of the series? So far it's been just serious.
I just finished watching. Can someone pls tell why the mayor had to kill Kim Yeong-nim? Also, I understand that Ha-na's family died because they committed suicide. Was it implied that she knew about the suicide? In the scene, she was the only one alive while the parents and sister were lying on the floor. Did she participate also? Why did she not die and only went to a coma?
I like and don't like it. I am a sucker for happy endings and I was hoping that at least one of them ended up really happy with someone. I was vouching for the womanizer who changed into a new leaf to have that great ending with the same wife. I wish there was an alternate ending to this to be honest.
I am to pick up on this series again ( I started but didn't finish it). Pls spoil it for me. Is it a happy ending? Coz I don't want tragic, sad endings.
I am only on Ep 10 and I am disliking both Seojun and Jugyeong. Suho has been very upfront with Jugyeong all this time. Jugyeong, on the other hand, chose to keep quiet about Sujin liking him. Seojun, out of respect for someone else's relationship, should have stayed away. Why put yourself in a situation where you will indirectly jeopardize a relationship? Ep 10 is such an annoying episode!
Now that I know that my ship wins, I shall begin the binge-watch
Me too! I am TeamSuho since the beginning of the webtoon and I even stopped reading until Suho came back. Gonna binge-watch because I stopped at ep 2. happy viewing!
What a relief! I have been Team Suho even in the webtoon. I stopped watching at ep 2 and wanted to wait until the series is finished. Thank you for your reply! #TEAMSUHOALLTHEWAY
happy ending with Suho? Please don't provide details. Just answer YES or NO. I was scared it would be open-ended like Cheese in the Trap so I want to know first. Thank you.
It is looking like JY will get back with Suho because JY-SJ already happened on ep 128. I guess that's how both the author and the director would end this story. Let's hope, everything turns out beautifully :)
Nope. The second chapter just ended. It's now at Ep 128 and it's already gone back to the present (all this time, everything was a flashback up to this point). I think the author plans to end the webtoon before the drama starts airing.
So I am not sure if any of you have been reading the webtoon but I honestly don't like how the story is going. It is going downhill and I was such a fan of the webtoon in the beginning. Good news to all awaiting for the drama though - it might have an ending after all (not open-ended).
We are divided with the ending. Some find it ok, some don't. The ending felt rushed or lacking to me but it is…
I agree. It would have made more sense to me if he sought medical help from a psychologist to deal with his emotional/mental trauma. It is like all the struggles that were forgotten because of his amnesia was not part of who he was/is. The totality of Hyun Soo is him before and after he met Ji Won so that should have remained an integral part of his life until the end.
Unpopular opinion: The ending was a little bit rushed. I already expected that he would suffer some sort of amnesia because of the head injury so I was not disappointed with that anymore. I was hoping there would be scenes about the court trial where the village's secrets were exposed (shaman's rituals and all). It would have been nice if DHS was shown to be vindicated in court. We don't know what happened with the gang leader although I assume he's dead. It would have been better if BHS did not die so he could suffer in jail for all his crimes, as this would be a more satisfying ending for me, at least. DHS should have been seen by a counsellor to convince viewers that he is being treated/healed for his emotional/mental trauma before even getting back together with JiWon. I wish there was a happy ending with Hae Su and Moo Jin with them finally reconciling as a couple after all these years.
It is still a great drama overall and still a 10/10 despite the rushed ending.
I agree. The dashcam was a major plothole. I am glad that the autopsy revealed more than the time of death itself…
I agree on all points except for the last one. The drama made it look like the cops in Korea are lame. BHS was supposedly heavily injured but he managed to get a gun from a cop. This was reminiscent of the hospital scene where YSC escaped. Overall though, still a great drama!
And props to the writer for answering the autopsy and dashcam details. I remember a few episodes back some people…
I agree. The dashcam was a major plothole. I am glad that the autopsy revealed more than the time of death itself but the circumstances before her death like the food she ate. That's a CSI moment right there. Lol
It is still a great drama overall and still a 10/10 despite the rushed ending.
