I just started watching this and I'm on ep 3. So far, I feel disconnected with the FL. Her character is a bit cold, stern, and lack of warmth. Does her character change later?

I feel the same way. Was very excited to start with a strong ep 1 and lost interest with the draggy flashbacks of their romance story. I got bored and just drop this drama for now and may pick it towards the end.

Agree but there are certain dramas that the leads didn't get together until towards the end.

Fake Di Ziyan is under Ming Xi so I'm thinking he has something to do with it.

I don't like his character so far. He's definitely looming behind the scenes and playing nice to all sides. He acts so jealous against the ML when he already knows the FL & ML have an arranged marriage and there's no sign he is backing off. I don't have any trust in him unless he's proven otherwise.

There were a few scenes already that showed his jealousy. Just hope that he doesn't do harm to the ML.
