Is Chang Yuan a strong character in this drama? I know Si Ming is but is his character as strong as Si Ming?

Wang Yixu recently has been posting/sharing LYT's pics on Weibo when she did a variety show as Si Ming. Even no confirmations yet but I take it as a good indication that she'll be Si Ming.

Someone mentioned that if the show is a hit or popular, the director may do S2. As of right now, the heat index is not that high so not sure we'll have S2. ;(

Btw, what's considered a bit hit for the drama?

Initially, I wasn't looking for S2 but now with the plot twists, things are getting very interesting. Shoubei and the Qi tribes are definitely more intriquing than the Qian people. If S2 focuses more on Shoubei and Qi tribes as they have many sectors of different kings/tribes, I expect more twisted plot twists to come. Also, I would love to see badass ChiLan as a king and JiuEr's new discovered power.

Not sure true or not but someone mentioned Wang Si Po, the director, bought the rights from Jay Walk for Si Ming.

Just watch it. It's definitely worth it but be patient in the middle of the drama where it's get a bit draggy but things will all explain at the end. It's a very unique detective drama with good plot twists and a very happy and satisfying ending. Bonus: martial arts are top notch.

It's rare to find a drama that all casts are fantastic with no annoying SML and SFL, except for that one whining princess. The main and second couple are both enjoyable to watch.

Lol...exactly my same thought. This drama is one of the unique ones that I've ever watched.

The hand that pushed JiuEr down to the water seems like a man, a bit chubby based on the size and width of his hand. Could it be WJ's bodyguard? Couldn't think of anyone that has a chubby hand.

There's a scene where the FL kissed the ML's head while he was sleeping and she has tears in her eyes. This doesn't look so good. :(

I feel the same...lol. It's very cringey. I only put up with it b/c I like LYT. I hope she doesn't play this kind of role in the future.
