I do hope this is true. He is expected to explode after Kill Me Love Me, but we all know that although KMLM is doing fairly good (even ranks #1 in Netflix in my country) it receives mixed reactions and ratings. So his pairing with Chen Duling is something that's worth the wait.

Unpopular opinion: I still love this drama despite the ending. From the Osts, spoilers, and bts we can already sense a SE for this drama (although till the very end, I was still hoping for a HE ). The two-leaders' acting is what keeps me going with this drama. LXY, his acting skill is top-notch! he is one of the most versatile drama actors I've ever known. His micro expressions are crazy. He can play a wide range of characters in KMLM. Gosh, I adore him a lot! While for WJY, I like her too. She is quite good at portraying Mei Lin perfectly. Her eyes can tell that she loves MJH a lot, just like I had imagined so far when I read the novel. I think after eps 23 this drama was going downhill, and I skipped a lot when Mei Lin got a lot of screen time with Yue Qin (LOL, I hate him!). This drama tore my heart apart, yet it could heal me. A re-watch? it is a YES! for me.
