Title Spring Fever
This is the best kdrama I’ve seen in years. Middle age couple and a teen couple and small town drama and a man who falls first and is totally whipped for fl. And a million other details that make it so entertaining and endearing and over the top but so fun. Love the pacing, love the plot, love the characters.

The central premise of the show is not explained properly. Which is that Yoon Ran Joo cannot sing and needs to…
I just assumed it was ranjoo losing her passion for singing as she became irrelevant so she doesn’t care for her voice or train anymore. Singing is a skill and you’ll lose your power if you don’t practice and take care of it. Plus she got drunk as a way to have a reason not to sing live. But this is a drama so there is probably a very dramatic reason why lol

If you want an accurate depiction of AI where the AI used is still impossible in todays world, you might get frustrated. If you think of the AI and programming as modern day magic instead of computer logic, then you’ll be able to let go and enjoy the show. The pacing was really good, the tropes and cliches were really fun and the tension was really enjoyable as well. I was between a 9.5 and 10 but settled on 9.5 just because it wasn’t “perfect” due to needing to suspend disbelief/logic here and there, but it was really refreshing and sweet. And I think the product they made in the last episode would be really cool and somewhat possible to create today which is awesome.

It’s giving “I’m 14 and this is deep” level “philosophy”. Boring 2nd ml & fl romance, and tons of plot holes for the main couple as well. Ep 1-6 I loved but ep 7-10 it got slower and slower and more empty feeling. Gonna have to drop it and find a spoiler for the ending. Seo in guk is really cute and sweet past ep 6 so if you wanna just see him in a possessive protective boyfriend role then you can use that as motivation to get past the slow parts I guess. Continuing this show is just a lil too dark and boring for me right now.

Please let CY be smart and go to the police and tell them everything he found out. Don't make him the typical…
Ikr like usually I’m super attentive to mystery plots but the fluffy romance in the beginning had my full attention so now that the shows finale is all about this super well done mystery I’m super enthralled. I can’t waaaaaait for the last two eps ughhhh

the assistant better give an explanation for his first attack at the fl's shop , coz that time the ml wasnt bothered…
The fl and ml were enemies because of the tiger jacket breaking phone incident. and the assistant later murdered a student simply for arguing with the ml. so I’d say a woman who had the potential to ruin ml rep by going to press and saying that he attacked her autistic brother is motive for the assistant since his murder motives were simply to take out anyone (and do anything as seen by him lying and continuing the math camp) threatening the ml reputation, since the ml has been the only good person in his life (his sister who he loved idolized the ml and he loved his sister cuz trauma bond due to having an abusive mother) so it’s farrrrrrrrr from a plot hole, if anything it’s excellent foreshadowing.

The beginning of ep 5 they basically reveal the guy's whole life. I was watching ep after ep, curious about what the secrets were, coming up with my own theories, etc. But then that massive info dump, while satisfying, gave me no more incentive to watch. The chemistry is dull, the end pairing is predictable and it's probably just gonna be bad guys = fight bad guys, romantic feelings appear = deny them and act awkward to put off them finally being together, blah blah blah. Seems like a great premise, but was so thinly pieced together that it has no real substance.

The ex-boyfriend creeps me out. I really like the concept, but why did they have to make him so old AND pathetic AND dumb? Yeesh...

For anyone wondering what Ophiuchus means and why they have the role they have in the show (don't worry, its not a spoiler)
Zodiac signs are based off the original 12 constellations in the zodiac belt. The constellations that make up the 12 zodiac signs are in the zodiac belt, but because stars die and are reborn through out time, sometimes constellations shift a bit. And in our current day, there are actually 13 constellations in the zodiac belt. Ophiuchus is the "13th" zodiac sign that people who love the original 12 zodiac sign system tend to ignore. If you count Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign, it would rule over Nov. 29 - Dec 18.
So I'm guessing in this show since they like going by having 12 zodiac signs/the 12 zodiac signs we all know and how 3 belong to each of the 4 elements, so having 12 is balanced and makes sense, they see people born under Ophiuchus as cutting in/disrupting. Since also if you consider Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign, it moves around the dates for all the other signs. That's why it makes sense the writers made people in this show under the Ophiuchus zodiac as people who can block other's powers. I think it's pretty clever and fun as an astrological hobbyist myself :)

Okay, what's the deal with Luo Feifei and the Ophiuchus? I still don't understand what the O. people do - I thought…
this show is about the 12 zodiac signs, right? The constellations that make up the 12 zodiac signs are in the zodiac belt, but because stars die and are reborn through out time, sometimes constellations shift a bit. And in our current day, there are actually 13 constellations in the zodiac belt. Ophiuchus is the "13th" zodiac sign that people who love the original 12 zodiac sign system tend to ignore. If you count Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign, it would rule over Nov. 29 - Dec 18. Which is why Luo Fei Fei in ep 8/9 says "I'm Sagittarius, not Ophiuchus." because Ophiuchus would cut in during the dates of Sagittarius. So I'm guessing in this show since they like going by having 12 zodiac signs, they see people born under Ophiuchus as cutting in/disrupting since if you consider Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign, it moves around the dates for all the other signs, hence why the writers made people in this show under the Ophiuchus zodiac as people who can block other's powers. I think it's pretty clever and fun as an astrological hobbyist myself :)
