Exactly! People want to see more games and suspense during the games but the writer is trying to buildup from…
Exactly, it wouldn’t have been interesting enough if they jumped right back into the games from the start. This much background story was absolutely needed and the pace was great too. Things should’ve been exactly how they were in this season.
I completely agree with you. When I pressed play on thursday I said to my parents who watched it with me: “…
I already knew it would end on a cliffhanger so I was prepared. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t disappointed? I feel like people should’ve known this wasn’t gonna be conclusive so they would’ve liked it better. They all went in with the idea that they’re getting a full complete game in a season when this wasn’t the case.
I think people just don’t like that it ended on a cliffhanger hence the low rating. I did not mind that at all though! I quite liked that the games will still continue on and nothing was rushed to be completed in one season. This season was absolutely necessary and while it may have not ended conclusively it still had a proper storyline and wasn’t just unimportant filler stuff. A really good setup for the next season.

OMG THIS WAS GOOD!!! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good judging from all the reviews on here but glad I gave it a watch! enjoyed it more than season 1 if I’m being honest. there were many things that I wasn’t a fan of in the first season, this one was done well in every aspect. the games were really good as well! the rating being 7.9 is foul
this show has that true essence of a kdrama. the writing may fall short sometimes but it has that charm and I hope it doesn’t lose that. it’s what’s keeping me hooked.
Same, I never thought he was a red flag, he was just direct and let her be, never forced her and she just lived…
yeah about the kidnapping I was also a bit confused as to why he didn’t act like it was something urgent but that’s because he thought it was a scam call and he did make sure heejoo was safe with her mom. and he’d also see her at home and she appeared fine so he didn’t suspect anything was going on for real until he sees the marks on her.
did I not pay attention well or is sa eon really not that toxic in the beginning? like I mean I get it that he didn’t treat her right at first but wasn’t that partly for her freedom as well? it was miscommunication and misunderstandings that led him to push her away to grant her freedom and show that she did not have any obligations towards him but his intentions weren’t bad. and also I don’t remember him being abusive or anything it was just misunderstood stuff like that? we also find out now that he pushed her away so he can’t get attached to someone he’d have to let go in the future. how can you watch that and still hate the guy?
