I think they’re trying to foreshadow Chat’s villain arc . I feel like they’re building his character for something bigger because they keep giving him moments that make it seem like he could become a bigger problem later. I really hope I’m right because a villain arc for him would actually be so interesting and cool. he has too much screentime for someone useless

i would say the downpart like the let down was like one Sa when the bottom betrayed him fled nd never came back then the top kidnaped him and then threatened him then that happened , but overall the character development between their characters and the relationship was amazing .i was littlery the definiton of enimies to lovers . it had forced scenes like Payback .

The only enemies-to-lovers BL novel I've read is Things That Don't Deserve to Die, and nothing has topped it. It's actual enemies to lovers, not some one-sided beef. They're both equally insane, ruthless, and unapologetic, and I love that there's no power imbalance or the typical ruthless top × timid bottom dynamic. They're both domineering, constantly trying to outsmart and overpower each other, which made their chemistry so much better. The assassin × mafia CEO plot is amazing, the side characters were great, and don't even get me started on the NC scenes... I literally had to pause.
The manhwa, though, was a huge letdown in my opinion because it doesn't do the novel justice. It completely watered down the bottom's personality and made him seem way more passive than he actually is, when in the novel he's just as manipulative, calculating, and unhinged as the top.

Either way, we all have different opinions and perspectives, and that's completely okay. At the end of the day, I genuinely love both series because they feel like such a breath of fresh air. The plots don't feel recycled or predictable—they're unique, organic, and the chemistry between the leads is absolutely fire.The mls are hot ongsa is cute Lj is cute and thier acting is top notch

my favourite part is the sexual tension between them i love how Big Jane teases Little Jane for a kiss and does it in such a seductive way while Little Jane is clearly tempted but also feels so vulnerable at the same time.
