I came here after reading a comment on insta saying, this should be called "The Last Prince" instead of "the next prince" and I couldn't help chuckling while watching the episodes when I realize how true that comment was. I usually reject watching these made-up kingdom dramas the most, but I find this drama weirdly good and I absolutely loved this drama. The main couple was really good. Especially the royal guard. But damn that guy is more busier than the king himself, jugling between being a prof, a royal guard, protecting the prince, running errands for the king, being the prince lover while being sandwich between the king and the prince's tug of war over him.

Ik the FL put up with that annoying ex cuz she was scared about getting exposed, BUT still she could have threatened him for trying to barge into her house and for stalking or something instead of looking after that guy at the hospital. 😭😭😭 that ex annoys me so much it's driving me crazy.

I'm just frustrated and angry with almost every character in this drama. But my anger peaked at Eun Su's husband. The audacity, the hypocrisy!! Did he for once think about what would happen to his own kid if his wife got arrested??? Why is he still on a high moral ground when he himself pushed his own family to the current circumstances because of his so-called righteousness? Urgh.. at least all the other bad guys acknowledge that they are bad, while the husband is still so full of himself.

I was so invested in Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang's love story more than the main couple. It's hilarious how Shen Wen Lang is a smart guy, but when it comes to Gao Tu, his skull is as thick as the Berlin Wall, and he is blind, and his brain just ceases to exist altogether. 😂😂

Even I was wondering if she has some mental illness of some sort but I don't hate her character though. And she is def a ticking time bomb. Sometimes I feel like she just needs a true friend, because she is too lonely.

It is so unwise of the mom to spend so extravagantly on her daughter as soon as she got the money. Buying all new and expensive stuff while trying to pay her husband's hospital fee by just doing part-time jobs? Who would believe that? I understand her wanting to give the best things to her daughter, but she really needs to pick a time for it and maybe at a slower pace so no one would have noticed.
