Even though all that was said below was nonsense I have to admire the persistence. At least it's not harsh, it's…
I miss Healer as well and I am resisting to re-watch so that I can move on a bit. I am glad to see that more people are still discovering Healer and loving it.
Yet another woman who loves, no, enjoys hitting men, our main lead female, as well with the other, are lowlife…
When CYS kicks SJH on the bridge after he finally tells her his name?? He predicted that reaction from her and was expecting it. I agree that no violence should be tolerated and no feminists would say otherwise.
This drama has ended nearly a month ago and I am still coming back to this page...and I've watched more dramas…
The worst thing is that neither watching new dramas nor re-watching any of my favourite dramas is satisfying me because they just don't compare to Healer. I've never had this problem of moving on once a drama has finished, was Healer that good?? The only thing that's helping is re-watching my favourite Healer episodes again and again. Obviously, I need serious help here, HELP! Has anyone found a solution to overcoming Healer addiction?
I just finished watching it for the third time (trying to get my JCW fix), but what's with all the characters just standing around even during fighting scenes?? I still like the drama because of the action and the bromance but boy, there are a lot of plot holes. And I thought JCW could have good chemistry with anybody but wow, there was absolutely no chemistry between him and the female lead.
This drama has ended nearly a month ago and I am still coming back to this page...and I've watched more dramas lately than ever before to get over Healer but it's still not working.
I loved the vibe of this drama and the adorable OTP. May be finally Kdrama writers are learning that couples that talks things through are more appealing than stupid lengthy misunderstandings.
This drama was good, but... The ending? There is no real conclusion to this. Nothing happened to the farmers,…
You are right, it was open ended in regards to the Farmers. The current Elder lost his position within the organisation and also got busted by the authority. Which implied that the organisation itself was not effected and presumably a new Elder would take his place. Jung Hoo's goal wasn't to bring down the Farmers, his ultimate goal was to clear his father's name and to find a way to live a normal life with Yeong Shin. I guess I was happy enough with the ending because I was so invested in some of the characters that I just wanted them to not get killed off. I too think that the ending could have been done better but I've read several interviews where both the writer and JCW expressed a similar sentiment. But for me, the ending wasn't too inconclusive and I still felt satisfied with the overall drama.
Wow...what an awesome drama! First few episodes were just ok and so I dropped it for awhile but picked it again and finished it in 2 days. Hope there is a season 2.
I think im the only one who found this drama draggy. The end was bad and too rushed. I love Ji Chang Wook, he…
I do somewhat agree with you about the end, it could have done with a couple of more episodes to finished it off better. But I think the Healer production team felt the same way because I've read both the writer and JCW talking about lack of time to make the ending better. However, I disagree with you about the depth of Healer. I was quite moved by the journey of self discovery by the main characters, especially watching Jung Hoo learning to reconnect with people. Even the 'baddies' in Healer weren't portrayed as one dimensional characters, especially Kim Moon Shik. He was a very complex character and the writer took the non-cliche road because he neither repented nor got punished in a normal sense. I felt that the overall message of Healer was quite deep, Jung Woo's decisions were made based on his love for Yeong Shin but he also learnt to become part of the society and tries to make a difference.
Both 10s (she gives a objective and a subjective rating) from Javabeans for Healer! That hasn't happened often.…
When asked in which field does he wish to expand his range in the future, he said, “I want to try doing a typical melodrama. I want to try doing a drama where the man falls deeply in love with a woman, he then contracts an incurable disease and loves her passionately, but ends up dying in the end.”
