I discovered Ou Hao from this drama and also got me onto a totally different genre of Chinese dramas.

I am rewatching this drama and it’s even better this time around. The main couple is so sweet together.

This drama reminds me of Mindhunter. Well written and directed. One of the best crime Kdrama I’ve been watched so far.

I am going through a real dry spell…I can’t get into any Cdrama or Kdramas. And so, I rewatched some of my favourite episodes again. This drama is still gives me such joy, I love all the characters.
What is everyone watching at the moment, any recommendations?

This drama gets better with every episode. I’ve watched episode 26 raw and it still made me cry. The main couple are so supportive of each other, lovely to see a sweet couple like this in a Cdrama. Wu Lei is so adorable as SSC, it would be very hard to not fall in love with him.

I watched episode 20 raw and did not understanding anything SSC said in the morning-after scene, but I saw the hurt he felt. This is turning into a good little drama. The writing isn’t too cheesy and acting is pretty good.

This is the best modern day Cdrama I’ve watched so far. The main couple is so natural in their interactions. Actually they are the most realistic couple I’ve seen in any KDrama or CDrama.

Only up to ep25 on Viki. Where are you watching it?

I just rewatched this drama and it’s actually better second time around. The chemistry between the main couple is very good. And I love that it’s the same actor playing the emperor as Love Like the Galaxy.

Such a cute little drama. This is my first feel-good modern day Chinese drama and I am loving it so far.

Only watched 2 episodes so far but I was laughing out loud. FL is hilarious. Hope this keeps up.

I agree with you totally, episode 3 is Kdrama at its best. The last scene was heart wrenching to watch. It shows an absolute unconditional mother’s love for her child.

Unfortunately, the mum doesn’t realise that she made a mistake in how she treated her daughter until episode 51. They do make up at the end though.

Love Like the Galaxy

I have just watched Upcoming Summer and I am really impressed with Wu Lei. He is a serious actor and not afraid to take on a role that could be viewed as controversial in China. His portrayal of the main character was totally convincing.

I don’t normally watch coming of age movies but this one was surprisingly good. Both ML and FL portrayed their characters very well, they were totally believable.
