He is most likely dubbed. Apparently he has a strong Sichuan accent, which doesn't work for certain character setups. To keep a character coherent, they use a dubber.

Currently (and for quite a while) only episode three is translated into Thai, which you can then turn into subtitles in English, but it misses so many nuances. I check it every day. lol
