What is a favorite scene of your's and why? I wants all the details!
Episode 3, K's crazy fighting at the superkmarket , the scene where the foreign guy tells him not to laugh and he says I don't want to and laughs like crazy all WHILE HOLDING A KNIFE WITH HIS BARE HANDS. xD And in the same episode, the scene when Su Yul asked him his name and he yelled "H I J K" xDDD Favorite character in this drama and always looked forward to his scenes!!!
On Duty after School: Part 2 Apr 24, 2023
As annoying as the ending was, I think it made sense in the grand scheme of things. Someone was bound to get crazy at the end-who wouldn't in the context of the drama? But I do think it could have been dealt with much better than this... and there were some things that weren't addressed or clarified at all. Like, why did Bo Ra hate Ae Sol so much? And why did Yeong Ho and Il Hwa fight all the time, and why did Yeong Ho and Kimchi stopp being as close as before? And how did Yeong Ho get swallowed up just like that at the very beginning of the drama? And why are the spheres partially big organisms, mostly small ones? And why were they sent and for what purpose??? I wish they elaborated better on these things and more... I still think part 2 was better in that we saw more character development and the episodes were more meaningful than rushed as part 1 was... but still, it could've been better. I just wish I could know-would it kill drama scritpwiters to make more happy endings to dystopian dramas like this with NO ONE dying at allll? Just a simple victorious story where everyone's happy and alive at the end, despite all the hardships? No? Ok.... :(

Yep, the actress in the first season definitely carried out the role of Naksu WAY better than the one in the second season. The second season should have featured Jung So Min again as Naksu but with powers rather than leaving us VERY unsatisfied with the lack of action from Naksu despite her alleged mage super skills. I was thirsty for scenes with her destroying enemies herself, but all I got were the scenes of her being used as a kill machine in the season 1 finale -.- Does her NO justice, in my opinion!!! And the second season... she doesn't even have anything to do with Naksu, despite being the original Naksu... very off putting! The romance was overdone, too, especially towards the end. Very conflicted on whether I like this drama (I consider both seasons as one since I binged both in the same week) because of season 1 or feel disappointed with it because of season 2. =(

Part 2 is not confirmed right?
It's a Netflix drama, so I expect a season 2 is in the works... the sources on this page claim that season 2 will come out in 2024.

So I assume Cheong San isn't dead yet since the actor is cast in season 2? Man, there's no closure in this drama, that's my least favorite part....

If you want a light-hearted drama with historical flavoring (that is FAR from an accurate depiction of the period's customs and traditions haha) just for the sake of watching something fun after a long and tiring day at work to make you giggle and bloom flutters in your heart--then this is exactly the drama you need to watch. :) I can't stomach tragic-ended dramas anymore, so the likes of this drama are where my delight stems from now.

Nice, light-hearted drama with warm themes and lessons. Really liked the ending theme, see you tomorrow.. Especially as I have to go to work tomorrow with my own work team haha. It did have some weird plot holes and transitions in the romance between the main couple, but I'd let it go just to appreciate the overall messages of the drama. I wished for more between a certain couple, as cliche as it may be, but I am satisfied with how things ended openly for them still. :D

I'd like to request a spoiler, please!
I'm on episode 6 and just found out about the male lead's terminal illness... My question is, will he or the FBI agent or the computer guy (assuming they're the trio of kids in the events 28 years before) die at the end? Just want to emotionally prepare for main character deaths LOL.

This drama is so wholesome with a great set of characters that all support each other so well!! I loved it so so much, wasn't prepared for the slam of emotions I was hit with as the plot thickened in a very unexpected direction after the third or fourth episode. Loved every bit of it, it was a real rollercoaster of emotions with the perfect happy ending I longed for.

Great drama! It is precisely what I needed to watch after a very hectic summer: a slow-paced delightful watch of everyday life events of characters in another world living a less hectic life than mine haha. Really enjoyed it beginning to end, brought me nice warm and fuzzy feels and definitely loaded with tear jerking scenes!

It seemed to me Mi Rae never objected really to Hyun Jae's offer to donate--and that bothered me. In contrast,…
Yeah but the person in question is also her own mother and closest friend, so it validates her torn reaction of being very concerned about him but also unable to object. I’d say her reaction was valid, especially that she makes up for it by being mostly on his side before the surgery even more than her mother’s side.

Great drama.. until the second half of the finale, as agreed upon by many here. It could maybe redeem itself with an extra episode to better tie up all the loose ends and address all the unanswered questions. But seriously, how underwhelming the finale made me feel! I always rate a drama by how it leaves me feeling after the ending because endings are the most impactful, but I’ll make an exception to this one and rate it 8.5 just because it held up well till halfway through the last episode. I would still recommend it to others if at least for the great storyline, with a word of caution about the unsatisfactory ending that may be overlooked in this particular drama.

Please tell me what is the reason to saja yuna breakup and any chance to those couples together or not
No, she doesn’t. Yu Na and Soo Jae still like each other, so they might get back together in the last few episodes.

I'd say mark your comment as a spoiler!
They break up at first because he didn't wanna drag him into his problem of being scammed by his friend. Then when it's resolved, she breaks up with him because his mother asks her to stay away from him.

I really like this show but from the last few episodes, I feel the writers are trying their hardest to make Haejun…
I mean, Hae Jun and Yoon Jae do have better, more realistic chemistry than Hyun Jae and Mi Rae lol. I didn’t feel like Hae Jun is being portrayed as evil, more like pitiful because of her craving for an elder’s approval. I’m not liking her mother in law’s snide thoughts of “oh, why is she trying so hard to get pregnant when she’s so old” and other thoughts like that, just recognize her hard work to get you to like her and accept her and understand her.
