Obviously, the very healthy old man Mr. Lee who has been taking good care of his health all these years and has been longing to do something for the sake of his Jung Eun will donate a part of his liver for her transplant because he is the best matched donor. The last few episodes are nicely set out, let’s hope the execution is satisfactory! They better do Hae Jun justice lol.
This drama is 100% my type of drama… I.e. truly dramatic LOL. Love every episode so far! Unlike many people here though, Hae Jun and Yoon Jae are actually my favorite couple, and Mi Rae and Hyun Jae are super annoying and keep getting on my nerves. I’m even starting to like Yu Na and Soo Jae together much better than them! Mi Rae’s mom is my role model in her elegance, and I felt so bad for her when she was going through her adoption revelation ordeal. Now, though, I’m on Hyun Jae’s mom’s side and can fully relate to her, coming from a culture of similar dynamics where the housewife gets pushed off to the side like that more often than not despite being the pillar of the whole family. Even Min Ho, s for all his graciousness to his sons and father he easily dismisses his own wife like that, even when she complains to him! Now I actually dislike him so much more for all his pretend caring of others but his own hardworking wife and can’t even tell how tired she is from all the cooking and cleaning. So glad she finally burst out at them about being upset, and I hope she gets along much better with Hae Jun than Mi Rae, who can be more dimples and smiles before she actually notices the ordeals of others, even her own mother.
Does the father die at the end because of a terminal illness? I’m still at episode 24 so his illness hasn’t been revealed yet, but I’m just curious to know if he’ll die to emotionally prepare myself lol.
Character On episode 1, Da Li appears to be a promising young genius art curator. However, the writer decided…
Yeah, I agree. Da Li seemed like she had a bubbly personality with charm and wit; however, she soon became a dull, toned won character that was more often than not expressionless and helpless. It was a let down given that actress’s skills!
I love her in devil judge...sometimes I see Shin Hye Sun in her, she’s pretty and talented
I agree!!! I also love Shin Hye Sun, and now I love this actress too!! I'm a fan of only a few female Korean actresses anyway, and the fact that these two managed to garner my admiration shows just how good they are :D
It seems that I'm among a minority that got soooooooo upset with Soo Hyun's death T_T. After finally hearing cowardly Ga On's confession to her, they just went ahead and killed her off for no good reason (of which I had a feeling since their first scene anyway)!!! It's always the minor romantic trope to which I only get a few sneak peeks in intense dramas like this one (and for the same actress, Sweet Home and The Nokdu Flower) that ends up in tragedy. *wails in desperation*
Started out nice, the rest was hard to watch (except for the scenes between Krystal and Hyuk, made me wish he was single!). Ending wasn’t that impressive. And what’s up with the guard with the flashlight? I get his contribution to the plot, but we needed more background about him. Overall, meh.
This was super cute and sweet. A predictable and typical K drama which is godsend when you need one of those.…
Agreed.. something with no expectations from me whatsoever--just what I needed to escape the pressures of daily life!! Started out a little doubtfully but easily hooked me a few episodes in.
Perhaps because they're looking at the situation from the point-of- view of a parent (or even that of a child…
Aaah I see! For me, I'm just watching the drama for fun so that's probably why I don't mind its shortcomings XD. But of course if this were real life, I'd find this preposterous and infuriating!
It seems that I’m one of the very few people here on Ae Jung’s side. XD So what if she doesn’t want to tell Dae Oh the reason she broke up with him? She has her reasons, that much is clear, and frankly, Dae Oh is an arrogant jerk at times (doesn’t make me like him any less, of course XD team DAE OH ftw!!) so he does deserve to be left hanging a little, maybe then he’ll come to fully realize her worth, not just love her “to the extent of hating her.” Maybe this’ll also teach him how to be a good father to Ha Née (their top notch chemistry this episode was the ultimate proof he’s the father). Let the drama simmer slowly and take its due course with no rush to find out who ends up with her (PLEASE let it be handsome Dae Ohhhhh!!!). I usually prefer the taller guy(s), but Dae Oh’s charm is undeniable and irresistible!!!
Or can I watch it standalone without watching the other one?
and @greypearl, YES EP 13 IN DEVIL JUDGE T_T
