I am one of those people and I agree with you, even though I can still enjoy realistic dramas sometimes, here I think the characters are too one-dimensional which doesn't help people relate or actually get attached to them... like we can't really understand them, which is too bad because I actually like the different couple stories they have

I agree I watch it at the same time as other dramas that are really fast paced and it helps … if it was the only drama I’d have to watch I would probably struggle even more

I don’t remember about ep 6 but I think their communication actually gets better with time since they’re still getting to know each other, and tbh they might be the only ones really communicating even though they can be frustrating sometimes haha
About the cute scenes tbh as a kdrama they probably have like a number of cute scenes to reach and they have to keep some for later lol

Now I get it, I felt smth was familiar with Kim Sejeong and actually it's because she gives me Emma Stone vibes... honestly I love this character and her acting feels so natural

Also Yeongseo's scene at the restaurant was just hilarious
seriously I haven't watched such a funny drama in a long time

but on the other hand I loved to see Seokho's nicer side with Hakyung's sister, I'm mostly looking forward to their story haha

I'm genuinely annoyed by Kijun / Hakyung's mom / and Bomi's mom, seriously all of them have only one concern, and it's themselves
Kijun always cares about his own reputation and needs
Hakyung's mom (even though she's worried) she basically ignores her daughter's feelings and wishes
Bomi's mom doesn't see that her daughter is actually trying to get closer to her dad and she just keeps complaining about him not caring but when he does she gets mad....
I get that he wasn't the perfect father but idk what made her stay with him if it's to always be mad at him all this time

I'm not saying they're necessarily in the wrong (except Kijun lol that guy deserves some slaps) but what I mean is that the characters are only portraying one thing which is that and it's bothering me because we don't have to chance to understand them more, they're just annoying

Honestly I feel bad because I like the actors but I'm really starting to feel the struggle to keep watching this drama... slow pace story is one thing but I just don't see any obvious developments (yes there are some but I feel like it's way too slow or not effective most of the time)

I think Hanna's death would be a bit too far fetched maybe
Because to me they only showed her money problems with her mom to lead the story to Daeil getting a side job where he got into trouble and risked his life... I also think Daeil could actually survive and not get graduated because he broke the rules by getting a side job (but that is also pretty far fetched haha)

Since it's just narration to me it doesn't mean it's directly linked to the funeral scene... it's a thing they do in movie/dramas sometimes so there's always the possibility that the visual scene isn't the illustration of what she's narrating
Like I said, they probably are misleading us, OR they are doing it the simple way (which is strongly implying that one of their group dies)... but I'm just suggesting a theory

Just saw your theory after sharing mine and I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about this 🙈 I'm truly hoping they chose the "surprising and not obvious" plot twists haha

First of all, if Daeil really is the one dying, I was a little bit expecting it because of the teaser but tbh it feels like an useless death... Idk but it feels not right plot wise (not like killing a bigger character if you know what I mean)

But if he is not dying, which I'm expecting (and hoping), I thought that actually the one whose funeral we saw with Eunkang could actually be one of the older cops, like SH's dad, the professor of the other detective (hence the uniforms)... like maybe they got into trouble by helping resolve the big case ?
and actually by "not graduating" it would be about one of them (students) quitting.... now we could say it's Tak but I still feel like it could be someone else

It's the most satisfying theory I have (in my opinion) but it would also make sense if they want to surprise us... because if things are really happening as simple as they are trying to show us, I am a bit disappointed.

In any case I can't wait to get more sweet moments after the storm please haha
