i just started watching this (i'm literally 8 minutes in) and i have to say that heesu and chanyeong are so cute together, it's a shame they're not the couple 😪

I love your take on this topic! I personally am a Beom Seok defender, though I also know he's a piece of shit. BUT! Through watching this show, I couldn't help but feel kind of understatement for his actions. I could understand feeling like him, like a total shit, who finally found his friends but then, suddenly, someone else "stealed" them from him. The scene where he observed the other three talking at the cafe? A literal masterpiece! He was always the insecure one. He thought that people liked him for his money, so he always offered to buy something etc., because he thought that it will make people like him more... Even when he was with his real friends (Suho and Sieun), he often proposed treating them food or something. I feel like he tried to blend with the bully group, tried to be like them, but we could see that he was more like himself with Suho and Sieun. I hate how he never apologized, was a coward and never talked about his problems with his family etc., but at the same time... I could really understand and feel him and his emotions. I hope that maybe in season 2 he'll appear, even in a short clip, and, hopefully, he'll be somehow changed. For better. Though, I kind of doubt it, but since the first season focused entirely on these characters... Maybe. I would love it. I think that Beom Seok is such a complex character, truly one of a kind. I don't think there are many that complicated characters in dramas that I've watched, so I'm really impressed!

Hard to tell how it will look like in season 2, but I would say that skipping them in season 1 would indeed affect your watching, since most of the biggest and most important scenes are the one with the fighting. But you can still prove me otherwise!

could i get a link to this unreleased scene please? i also weren't quite sure and also thought he liked him lmao! when it comes to the ending, for me, it was also unsatisfactionary. i actually want them 3 to be best friends again... i could relate with beomseok so much, althoguh he's not a good character for everything he did, i can't possibly describe him as a 'bad' character either, because i understand him somehow. still, i want the continuation of their story if possible...

the ending destroyed the season 2 for me. and yuri did too. i wanted to rip junko's hair off at the end. i want nanno to put them both in their places, so season 3 is a NEED.

normally i don't post any reviews so i won't post one to this one, but i want to comment so badly. honestly, it's one of the few k-dramas that didn't make me skip through most of the episodes. i watched them so attentively i almost didn't recognize myself. i absolutely adored seonghyeon's character and i need more such a green-flag puppy coded boyfriends in bl dramas. i'm also slightly confused about jaemin because if he wouldn't reject daon's then when he confessed, he would probably achieve his goal of them being together. but, again, he's a total psycho (but a pretty one, that i cannot say no to), so well... i'll happily wait for kim ho young and chan jung woo to appear in other bl dramas as well, especially kim ho young... i fell in love with his visuals and acting, and althought jaemin's character was a complete red flag... i was wishing for some slight jaemin x soohyun towards the end. you know, red + red = red, it would be so interesting to watch, lmao! anyway, i'll keep my tracks on all four of them, i want to see them soon! recommend this to y'all, especially if you don't know which k-bl to watch. this one's great!

i think it's pretty obvious that soohyun always liked daon and tried to keep him and jaemin separate. that's why he was so 'possessive' about jaemin (coming to his house, meeting him etc.) because he wanted to know that they're not together.
