Yes, the second couple are not that popular as mosty theyve been supporting but theyre great actors and for me their story line has more depth and their characters and personality really match. That book is a representation of him and chengcheng took an interest and he just stared at her.
Thats why also when they were talking while drinking, cheng said again that she may not understand the book but she knows his emotion and went on to say that his ex didnt understand him and he was in awe again but tried to ignore it.
I find it funny when she used his book to write her inventory for the resto and wen rang said the spaces are there for a reason but cheng just said its a waste so she made used of it and filled them up with anything just like how she is slowly filling up the spaces in his life.
Then when she returned the book to him is removing wen rang from her life.

The female lead here is jot as strong as the one in previous season.
If you watched GGS 1 youll know cus basically the GGS1 is like the present of all the events and this drama just shows what wasnt shown between them.
