Not even an apology? Fah literally ghosts Prince on the word of his ex and then just... shows back up without an apology and no one cares? Fah ghosts Prince on the word of an ex that Prince asked him to stay and keep talking to him with and just... ugh. This entire show has been painful. The best part is Dao and Kluen.
How did Christian go from weeping over his lost love to forgiving his father for separating them to smiling happily in, like, less than 24 hours? Seriously? He doesn't try to contact Bogs? Doesn't try to get back to the supposed love of his life? And Bogs isn't mad at Pepay for literally outting the supposed man he loves to a father who turned out to be abusive enough to literally kidnap him? This is not an emotional roller coaster, this is an emotional drop ride. That makes no sense. Seriously. None. What happened?
I want to like this but between the gay father being homophobic, the transwoman's only goal being to break them up to continue giving unwanted sexual advances to a character who has turned her down, the fact that we are, at no point, shown 'all the missed phone calls' that explain why Christian is upset when he was the one who went and hit Bogs... I just don't get most of the story. Good acting but so many plot holes it's difficult for me to care about them.
He knows it. Maze told him in episode 6 when they visited his childhood home.
Apparently not! Everyone else seems to think he was exes with Nueng until told otherwise so... I genuinely doubt Maze has spoken about Nueng otherwise. Because Thanh -absolutely- thinks they're ex-lovers.
He knows it. Maze told him in episode 6 when they visited his childhood home.
I only care about the fact that no one had told Thanh and that the only character i like in the show is stressed and hurting because no one will just talk to him! Everyone else can suffer.
Why does this show just refuse to tell Thanh that Nueng and Maze are stepbrothers?!?! WHY. Just tell the poor boy! Someone tell him! Literally everyone but him knows! Ugh. At least episode 10 had an actual story line in it?
The problem with that is that Phap knows they're stepbrothers from an earlier episode when he visited their childhood…
Don't worry, very little in this show makes any sense so I get why you'd forget. I expect to be punished for remembering the big deal they made out of the bruise so... remembering in this show is for suckers.
That was a dramatic episode - I'm a bit confused, though. My interpretation is that Phap doesn't understand what…
The problem with that is that Phap knows they're stepbrothers from an earlier episode when he visited their childhood home and was shocked to find out that they weren't exes.
So was all the drama with the bruise on Phap for no reason? At all? Because that seemed like it was going to be…
And the ending... that's not how teasing works? That's not teasing. That's just being unbelievably cruel for no reason to someone out of nowhere and basically ruining what was supposedly a relationship?!?! What... what happened? Help? I am so confused.
So was all the drama with the bruise on Phap for no reason? At all? Because that seemed like it was going to be a big thing and then just vanished for this absolutely nonsensical date considering how Phap was refusing to look at him or speak to him just like an hour ago. What? I don't get this at all. I am so lost.
I kind of hate Mario at this point? He refuses to move on, refuses to accept new love or to just give up and do something new. Like, seriously, if you know you can't get past him then STOP stalking him!!
But also, even more, why declare all his character growth for three years and then just basically sweep it away with the rearrival of Jethro?
Also, dude, Andrei, have you heard of having an expression? It'd be great.
Ugh, poor Arnold. He deserves so much better than what Mario is doing to him.
i think that's kind of the point, that it actually isn't romantic at all, especially from Phab's perspective.…
Oh, no, I appreciate long answer. I get it at least a bit more (from the POV of someone who likes them together, which is honestly... not me) but I will say that I have trouble with the reading of the scene with the snacks in the office because Thanh specifically offered them to Phab and Phab basically offered to take a snack and leave and Maze denied him that which... even as a boss, makes no sense, let alone as someone who would come to him later with the leftover snacks as a reward. That's part of my issue with it, because Phab did literally ask to just have a snack and was still denied and that felt just so... parental and uncomfortable to me, I suppose.
I admit that this set of scenes hit some kind of button I didn't know I had and just made my skin itch. I really, really didn't like it. I also didn't understand why Maze was seemingly suddenly so comfortable with Nueng again after every other episode trying to get away from him. It felt like character growth that didn't actually happen in the show. Like, he overnight got comfortable with just hanging out with his step-brother again and joking about old times? What?
I don't actually think they were unwanted leftovers, I will admit, that was just exaggerated phrasing on my part. It was pretty obvious that Maze had deliberately saved them for Phab as a gesture of, for me, control but obvious for other people not so much.
Thank you, again. I still don't like it and I don't think it was good and I DREAD the idea that Phab is going to be apologizing next episode because I truly think his reaction was right... but at least I kind of see where people might not agree.
Can anyone explain to me why Maze would think Phab would be happy to be given the leftover snacks that were bought for him but Maze banished him from the room like misbehaving toddler instead? Because it makes no sense and really, honestly, just bothered me. A lot. It makes no sense! Thanh bought the snacks to thank Phab... so Maze kicks him out and then brings him the leftovers of his own snack like some big reward? Only it's more like denying a child candy at the checkout counter but buying it for yourself and then eventually saying 'I guuuuessss you can have a piece of what I didn't like'. Why is this supposedly romantic?
I don't understand Martin at all. How does he constantly go from being genuinely mean-spirited and cruel (The photoshoot prank, talking behind Ethon's back, planning with his manager) to supposedly being caring and kind? I... don't get it at all. Why is Ethon supposed to feel bad when Martin has repeatedly tried to hurt him and has never given him a single reason NOT to distrust him?
I am watching this show as a trainwreck. Martin constantly thinks about liking Ethon while, you know, actively sabotaging him and being cruel and I don't get it. I'm watching to see where it goes but I'm mostly just expecting an explosion at this point... sadly, not kind I want, though.
Oh, so we're retconning Martin's entire personality? I mean... why bother? Oy. This show... I watch because I always need more BL in my life but hooo boy.
But also, even more, why declare all his character growth for three years and then just basically sweep it away with the rearrival of Jethro?
