im 99.999999% sure they won't be making a second movie cuz
1) this shit is ass cheeks
2) it would be too demanding of their budget (given they decided to prioritize hiring top actors)
3) this story is impossible to make a live action because its THAT good. sure you could attempt a decent one but unfortunately this is not it
This truly was a waste of money, I hope this director learns his lesson and quits or actually learns to read. AND I hope every orv fan will not spend any money on this movie ( watch it illegally for all i care). save that money to buy official eng translations of the novel (or the comic)!

when an article with ahn hyesoep or whatever comes out, you’ll see that i dislike him and his shitty opinions even more!! otherwise you can see my hatred isn’t concentrated onto one person by seeing my comments on the movie’s page. so please don’t try to frame me as misogynistic when this movie itself is ruining the originally strong and complex female characters, which includes the one jisoo plays :)

in the original novel ljh does NOT have a crush on kdj, i don’t know where you’re getting that from but i wouldn’t be surprised if the movie adaptation changed it up so they have more chemistry (gross). the girl sees yjh as a mentor and somewhat has the same relationship with kdj (the main character). if the movie hints at anything more than i hope you will join me in beating up the director!

Casting a 30 year old woman to play a high schooler? Crazy… Changing the sword (that was important to the story) to a gun?? Yea bro must’ve gotten a lobotomy or something

If they wrote a proper script lee jihye would not be overlooked ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶!! You wouldn’t need to use an actors popularity to distinguish a character that was already important in the original work if you were a good director!!

hey did these guys even read the first chapter? it doesn’t matter if it was the webtoon or novel they read because at this point it seems as if they’re just making this based on “vibes” or just copying the plot of most stories in this genre. otherwise how did they mess up even the intro?? kdj would never insult tws123 as he was their #1 fanboy, enough to make half of the internet hate him but i guess this movie is set in an alter alternate world where everything is the opposite. next thing you know kdj will end up choosing a constellation and yjh will regress immediately after meeting him! i don’t even wanna mention how they’re grinding the female characters into unrecognizable slop so they could fit into the typical role of female supports. why is my yoo sangah a healer?? if i was rich i would immediately fly to korea and grab the collar of the director to demand answers. aaaaaa seriously i’ve never been so worked about adaptions or stories in general but orv is such an amazing story it’s such a shame it’s being represented this way. hey director reveal yourself! you’re actually one of the dokaebi from the story right? why else would you cast such actors that don’t even fit the characters and try to change the story to better fit their fans?

Trust I will become rich enough to delete this monstrosity from the internet and replace it with a better adaption. Heck I’m even considering dropping engineering and going into film just to make this dream possible(just jokes tho). Wait for me true ORV fans!!!

I wish they casted like the one piece la 😞 would rather have actors that actually fit the character than random popular actors. The story is good enough to gain fame through the plot instead of attracting fans of actors. It also seems like they’re planning on changing some story details which is done in most adaptations, however, with a story like ORV, it’s better to avoid doing so. I’ll still watch the movie because of how much orv means to me but based on everything that’s been released, it will be a disappointing experience.

How can someone be this dumb... all the characters i couldn't stand. They were so bad I ended up siding with the jerk ML, he was more considerate than half the characters. I had to drop but I'm sure they got their happy ending. IMO this could've been shortened without the FL misunderstanding everything and being dumb enough to not be able to see how bad of a friend Yul is. I decided to stay up to watch this when I've got class tomorrow, amazing!

in the beginning he's a coward ig but later on he gets better and takes more responsibility as a prince

I don't believe in the death penalty but I still find myself rooting for the MC. The copycat tho is mad annoying idk he seems like a spoiled rich boy who's found something fun to do. Our guy actually looks up these criminals and make sure they're worth killing while the loser just kills anyone news outlets tell him to. He's rich so it'll be beneficial for MC to team up with him but he's reckless and obviously doesn't have the same M.O. as MC (or atleast not to the same extent) so it might end up getting him in trouble. I'm really curious how the story will playout in the remaining 4 episodes.
