I'm so soft for Park Tae Joon. He's playful yet sweet and supportive. He's like a golden retriever lol Also, the 6 degrees of separation is so strong in this one. The bully who turns out to be her sister's ex and the sister whom his future gf injured in the past. It's honestly weird how all this information is under Tae Joon's nose. Well, assuming he's not close to his sister, and it was a secret relationship. But hey, are there no photos between Tae Yang and his sister together? Oh well... I wish people would stop being so mean to Tae Yang.
I'm quite not sold yet with Gong Tae Sung's character. I have no problem with tsundere characters before, so it baffles me why I'm slightly annoyed at him. I also found myself skipping some scenes as I find them uninteresting. I hope the writing improves in the succeeding episodes.
I've enjoyed making Kdrama edits lately on YT. I recently made one for Love All Play with Jonas Brother's Sucker https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeC1odMEiFo Clips are all from EP 2 I think. :)
Hello!!! How's the drama so far? I'm not that much into sports-themed dramas but I liked Run On! Do they have similar vibes? Comforting, slice-of-life, character-driven?
*EDIT* Thanks to everyone who commented and shared their thoughts! I already downloaded the first episode. I will update after I finish it. Lowkey in Kdrama slump after Crazy Love, ABP, and 25-21. Our Blues and Liberation Notes seem kinda heavy so, I'm looking for something a bit healing.
*EDIT 2* Finished the 2 episodes, and I'm hooked. I love the 2 main characters so much.
How's the drama faring in the SK? Is the writer aware of the controversies? I hope they address it! I'm not asking for the drama to be canceled...But I do hope all this flak would be used to make the Koreans (and other people) be aware of the hurtful stereotyping. It's already 2022, let's all be better people.
While I acknowledge the faults of this drama, I will still watch it. I really miss LSK and I'm honestly enjoying the banters between her and the ML. Enemies-to-lovers is one of the tropes I enjoy. I hope it gets better!!! :(
10/10. This was rom-com done right. It had all the elements I love--slapstick comedy, character development, heart-fluttering kisses, no draggy misunderstandings, a mystery that kept you on your toes, and a satisfying and unproblematic ending. Sure, the ending was more like a gift-wrapped up and tied with a nice, perfect bow, but hey after all the previous Kdrama endings we've been through (if you know, you know), I think we all deserve a satisfying one that leaves a smile on our faces. I super love the wedding picture in the end. They freakin look so good together. Hands down, this will be one of my favorites! Thank you Crazy Love Production and Cast!
EP 2 is definitely better than 1. I love the bickering and, wow did Tae Sung nail that photoshoot. I feel like there's more to them as "exes". Their smiles in the picture look fake as heck lmao they probably "hated" each other ever since college days. I know that "annoying the girl I like" is such an overrated trope but I feel like I can live with it for now. There's quite an overwhelming bunch of supporting roles...hmmmn, I hope they won't hog the screen so much.
Also, can anyone provide a translation of the synopsis of The World of Stars??? Why did Tae Sung say the script is about him and Han Byul?
I don't condone what his former secretaries did but Noh Go Jin ought to acknowledge that he was a monster of a boss. Nobody told him about that email death threat and while I pity him as it feels like the whole world is against him, HE NEEDS TO BADLY SELF REFLECT. Notice that when people defended him for the false accusations and they brought up the good stuff about him, I was lowkey feeling unnerved, coz that wasn't even him, it was Shin Ah who donated money behind his back lol
Anyway, anywhoo, we have finally unlocked all main villains I guess? 1. Oh Segi - did it as revenge bc of his sister 2. the ex - felt wronged as her noble idiocy did not work 3. ex's secretary - still a mystery; son of conglomerate but why is he working as a secretary? 4. stalker in a white dress - probably liked Noh Go Jin but was rejected; possibly the one who pretended to Go Jin's fiance?
With 2 episodes left, I hope they'll be able to wrap all loose ends. There' s still that Korean teacher Cha Bae leaking some sort of an exam; The other teacher who forged her records; ohh and did anyone catch how NGJ convinced Park Yang Tae to take his side?
Guess who did another FMV? 나! 🙋 I guess this is how I pass my time while waiting for another episode. Here's another Go Jin x Shin Ah edit you guys: https://youtu.be/Oay234FPNvs I used Shawn Mendes' Fallin' All In You as BGM to show Noh Go Jin slowly catching feelings for Shin Ah. <3
